It is with great sadness that Mike announces the passing of his Best Friend & Eternal Companion BEVERLY ANN (JENSEN) BARBOUR, beloved wife of Mike Barbour of Mountain View, AB, passed away in Lethbridge, Alberta on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the age of 55 years.
Also left to mourn are her 4 children, Chad (Dawn) Jensen - Little Joey, Amy (Dan) Shaw, Kathleen (Dustin) Prince - Elijah & Emerson, Shaun (Katie) Jensen; Aunt Joyce & Uncle Pete; Uncle Joe & Aunt Phylis; her two sisters and many nieces & nephews.
We want to say thanks to all the nurses and doctors at the Jack Ady Cancer Center and a very special thanks to Dr. Shakoor, Pam and Nurses at St. Michaels for the respect and dignity you gave to Beverly during her stay.
The Funeral Service will be held in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mountain View, AB on Saturday, May 26th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Bishop Dennis Baker officiating.

BARTZ
KENNETH BARTZ beloved husband of Alvina passed away suddenly on May 19th at the age of 67.
He is survived by his children Natalie and Alan (Jodi) Bartz and grandchildren Conrad, Candace, Deanna and Katarina. He is also survived by his siblings, Don (Donna) Bartz, Marlene (Bruce) Hubbard, June (Doug) Dow and Roy (Jan) Bartz, sister-in-law Alma Ragan and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ken grew up on a farm in Monarch and in the fall of 1962 he married Alvina Bublait and moved to Iron Springs. He spent the next 50 years here raising a family in a loving farming environment. He was very involved in community volunteering for many good causes. He had genuine zest for life and will be greatly missed by those he touched.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00pm and 9:00pm on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street South, Lethbridge.

Ben Eringfeld, beloved husband of Sini Eringfeld of Coaldale, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2012 surrounded by his family. Ben was born on March 29, 1931 in Breedenbroek, Holland. He was the second oldest child in a family of 13 children.
Besides his loving wife, Sini, he is survived by seven children: Marilyn (Rob) Hansum, Cecile Dixon, Frances (Keith) Judson, Albert (Gina) Eringfeld, Angela (Ed) Ruzycki, Carmen (Chris) Little, and Patricia (Scott) Walls. He also leaves behind his 13 grandchildren: Cassandra, Alexandra, Brandon, Mya, Nigel, Noah, Gabriel, Sam, Thea, Sarah, Thomas, Taylor and Nolan. Ben is also survived by his 5 brothers and 6 sisters and is predeceased by one sister, Thea.
Ben began his agriculture schooling in Holland and served two years of duty in the Dutch Air Force before coming to Canada in 1956, where he took on a few jobs. His lifelong dream was to one day own his own farm. He returned to Holland and soon met his beautiful wife whom he married in 1960. After their marriage, they immigrated to Canada where they began their life and family together. In 1965, Ben and Sini bought their farm in Coaldale and worked hard to provide for his family until 1996, when he sold the farm and retired in the Town of Coaldale.
Ben was a faithful member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church where he was active in the Knights of Columbus and the church choir. He had many hobbies including gardening, stained glass, painting and crossword puzzles. Most of all, Ben cherished his family and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. “Opa” will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayer Service, on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at ST. AMBROSE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1513 – 23 Street, Coaldale, AB., at 7:00 pm with Deacon Ray and Ellen Wagner officiating.

AGNES YVONNE, beloved wife of the late John Harvey Graves of Lethbridge, passed away at the West Highland Good Samaritans on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the age of 73 years.
She is the loving mother of Carol (Dale Dyck) McCoy of Raymond, AB., Tim Graves of Edson, AB., Tina (Mark) Wagner of Lethbridge, AB., Diana (Dean Carlson) Graves of Edson, AB. Grandchildren Kristal, Justan (Celena) and Tabitha McCoy, Kayla Graves, Cassandra, Matthew and Samantha Wagner, Nick (Daylene) Graves, Nathan Carlson and Lindee Ingram. Great grandchildren Emma and Joshua McCoy, Brooklynn and soon to be Alexis McCoy, Martha and Makayla Martens and Kohnner Graves.
She is also survived by numerous brothers and sister and in-laws and their families.
She is predeceased by her husband John, infant son and parents Arsene and Anna Roberge.
Agnes was born in Bonneville, Alberta on March 8, 1939.
On December 28, 1957 Agnes married John Graves – together they raised 4 children living on Military bases in Trenton, Ontario, Greenwood, Nova Scotia, and Cold Lake, Alberta before retiring to Lethbridge in 1979. Agnes was a stay at home mom who dabbled in ceramics, Avon, Amway and Tupperware and after the kids were older she got a job at Sears. She enjoyed bowling, darts, cards, camping, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She suffered numerous strokes that left her with memory deficit. Over the past 10 years Agnes was cared for by numerous caregivers but spent the last few years at West Highlands.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at ST. BASIL’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604-13th Street North, Lethbridge, AB on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Tim Boyle, Celebrant. Inurnment to follow in Mountain View Cemetery.

JOSEPH "JOE" O. HOFER, of Milk River, passed away peacefully at the age of 79 on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at St. Therese Villa in Lethbridge.
Joe is survived by his wife, Irma; children Aleta (Walter) Neufeld, Esther (Ken) Yakunin, Steven (Kelley) Hofer and Maryanne Henke and grandchildren Denielle (Chris) Moody, Breanne Neufeld, Makenzie, Lincoln and Jaxon Hofer and Winston and Autumn Henke.
Joe is also survived by sisters Mary Johnson, Annabelle (Joe) Johnson, Barbara Anderson as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by his parents Joe and Rachel Hofer, sister Ida Johnson and brothers Lloyd and Clarence Hofer.
Joe was born in Spring Coulee, Alberta on July 6, 1932. Along with his wife Irma, they farmed in Milk River for 55 years.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to the staff at St. Therese Villa for their special care provided over the past couple of months.

WILLIAM HENRY (BILL) LAQUA, born on June 6, 1926 in Warner, passed away on May 19, 2012 at the age of 85 years, while on vacation in Fairmont, BC.
He is beloved husband to Louise, and father to Joanne, Thomas (Barbara), Lorna, Gordon (Helen) and Mark, grandfather to Andrew, Brittany, Nathan, Chelsea, Kristen, Megan and Sean, Leigh and Daniel . He is also survived by his sister Joyce, brother Robert (Lillian) and sister-in-law Lylla.
Bill was predeceased by his parents William B. and Mildred and his brother Charles.
Bill followed the Laqua family tradition as a farmer and a carpenter. He enjoyed playing and watching baseball, curling and golf. He loved camping and the outdoors. In retirement he enjoyed hobbies of stained glass and woodworking. Above all he loved being with his family.
Even though he was affected by Parkinson disease in his later years, he was able to stay at home with the support of his wife and family.

Kenneth Lucien Low, born October 27, 1937, passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre on May 20, 2012 at the age of 74 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Ken is now reunited with his parents, sister Margaret and brother Byron.
Ken is survived by his only son, Ken Jr. and daughter-in-law Shelley; his grandchildren, Jordon, Brittany and Tristan; four sisters, Loretta Goertzen of Calgary, Marie Oseen of Lethbridge, Sylvia (Harry) Seredinski of Lethbridge, Patsy (Rick) Frappier of Coaldale and three brothers, Ron (Janet) Low of Lethbridge, Gordon (Valene) Low of Raymond and Boyd (Dorothy) Low of Lethbridge, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
Ken was predeceased by his parents Clesson and Irene Low, youngest brother, Byron and third oldest sister, Margaret, as well as special nephew Shaun Oseen.
Ken was a devoted bachelor, spending his lifetime working with animals. He was a true horseman, as was his father, Clesson. Ken had a real love and passion for thoroughbred racing horses, and actively participated in the thoroughbred racing industry. He was very well known and respected by his peers.
Ken was very a special person in the lives of his extended family and will be fondly missed and remembered for his great sense of humor, curtness, easy smile, friendly, helpful ways and for his integrity and dedication.
Ken had a lot of friends, but some of them who stood by him closer than a brother, namely Dick Metz, Willie Hebenik, David Roger Forbes and Dale (Digger) Mortensen. The family thanks you.
All our love to you Ken. You will be truly missed – The Family.

Mack Higdon Murray passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at the age of 88 years, beloved husband of Anne Murray. Mack was born July 11, 1923 in Medicine Hat, AB and spent his entire life on the ranch south of Whitla. He was schooled at home, and then attended Bar Vee School and St. Theresa’s Academy. He married Anne Andersen of Seven Persons, AB on March 14th, 1949. In the early years, he ranched with his father and brother, raising sheep and cattle. Later, he added farming to his cow/calf operation; working with his sons and grandchildren. He enjoyed his involvement in 4H and his time on the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede Board. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Thursday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. or at the Cypress Centre on Friday morning from 10:00 - 10:55 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the Cypress Centre (2055 21st Ave. SE, Medicine Hat) on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Life Celebrant, David Townsend. MARJORIE “MARG” YACKULIC, beloved wife of Anthony “Tony” Yackulic, passed away at the Edith Cavell Care Centre, in Lethbridge, on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the age of 88 years.
Marg was born March 9th, 1924 in Whitley Bay, Northumberland, England, to Thomas & Winifred Atkinson. She came to Canada with her family at the tender age of 5. They settled in northern Alberta, coming to Lethbridge in 1943. Marg and Tony were married in June 3rd, 1948 and would have celebrated their 65th anniversary this year. Marg was employed at McCready Drug Store for several years and then Sears. She was the mother of six children, Sylvia Armstrong, Larry Yackulic, Dorothy Niewendyk (deceased), Colin Yackulic, Brent Bauer and Nancy Munrow, and seventeen grandchildren.
