TRACY LUCINA BERNADETTE SHARP ADZE
The Creator has called home, our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Tracy Lucina Bernadette Sharp Adze, at the age of 38 years, on Saturday March 17, 2012.
Tracy spent her childhood years in Lethbridge, residing with her mother, Elsie, and her siblings. As a young woman, she moved back to Piikani with her mother and siblings. It was during this time in her life she met her soulmate, Allen Shouting. It was love at first sight and they would share 24 wonderful years together. He loved Tracy so unconditionally that he left his community and family just so he could reside with Tracy in Piikani. They would begin their life together and had four children: Samantha, Myron, Allen Jr. (Cheyenne) and Chrissy, as well as their adopted children: Rayel Left Hand, Tenita Sharp Adze, Jasmine Red Crow and Shasta Day Chief. They had four grandchildren: Antoine, Blaise, Kaysen and Lucina.
Allen and Tracy were inseparable and enjoyed doing many activities as a couple. They picked berries, mint and sweetgrass. They made crafts like willow chairs and miniature tipis. Allen and Tracy could be seen cruising together. They spent precious moments with their children and cherished grandchildren. They were the treasure in her life.
Tracy had a wonderful sense of humour. Her laughter will be dearly missed by everyone that knew her. She had a very close bond with her older sister, Barbara. She was there for her, to visit with or just to talk with each other. She gave her adopted daughter Rayel a nickname – Shorty.
Tracy leaves to mourn her passing, her husband Allen Shouting, her father Emile Napope, sisters Amelia, Anne, Barbara (Clark) Spotted Bull, Maria (Anthony) Sharp Adze, June Pard, Camillia Pard and Ivy (Raymond) Crosschild; brother Terry Sharp Adze, and her children Samantha, Myron, Allen Jr. (Cheyenne), and Chrissy; her grandchildren Antoine, Blaise, Kaysen and Lucina; her adopted children Rayel Left Hand, Tenita Sharp Adze, Jasmine Red Crow, Shasta Day Chief; her uncles Ken (Nancy) Napope, Martin Napope; her aunts Theresa (Joe) Pard, Kathy, Penny and Theresa Napope.
Tracy was predeceased by her mother Elsie Sharp Adze, maternal grandparents Mike and Naomi Sharp Adze, maternal uncles Edward, Raymond and Oscar; maternal aunts Catherine, Betsy Ann, Blanche, Patsy, Suzanne, Dorothy and Josephine; her great uncles Harold Sharp Adze, Burt Stripped Squirrel, Joe Boss Ribs; Maternal great aunt Esther Little Leaf; Paternal great grandparents Calf Robe and Patient Woman; Maternal great grandparents Norbert and Julianne Stripped Squirrel.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday March 21 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Pincher Funeral Chapel. A Wake service will begin at the home of Allen Shouting beginning at 1:00 p.m. on March 21, and a Funeral Service on Friday March 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Brocket Community Hall.
