BROST
DANIEL FREDERICK BROST was born on June 8, 1927 in Alt Posttal, Bessarabia and passed away peacefully on June 18, 2012, at St. Michael’s Hospital in Lethbridge, AB at the age of 85 years.
Daniel travelled with his parents Daniel Brost and Martha Maria Kalmbach in 1929 to the Rosebeg District near Medicine Hat where he grew up on the family farm with his brothers David and Hugh.
On December 17, 1949 Daniel married Clara Retelbach in Medicine Hat and together they raised three children, Bryan (Naomi), Larry (Ruth), and Sandra (Wes), to which were born seven grandchildren Kevin, Josh, Rosanna, Leanne, Kaley, Daniel and Tia. He is predeceased by his parents and brothers.
Daniel was very talented in electronics and made his skills useful in his career as an electronic technician as well as running a successful business. He enjoyed flying airplanes, HAM radio, and gardening. He always had a quick sense of humor and especially enjoyed cooking for his family. We cherish his memory.

Liam Croft
1995 - 2012
Liam Frank James Croft, beloved son of Darrell and Willemina Croft of Taber and loving brother to Ian, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2012 at the age of 17 years.

Besides his parents Darrell and Willemina Croft and his brother Ian Croft, Liam is survived by his grandmother Thelma Byde-Vaate of Taber. He is also survived by his aunt Janette Maedel, uncles Brian Croft, Doug Croft and their families.
Liam was born in Taber February 21, 1995 and lived in Taber all his life. He attended St. Patrick's School, Central School, D.A. Ferguson Middle School and W.R. Myers High School.
Liam was active in Soccer, being part of the Southern Alberta Summer Games championship team for 14 and under in 2009. He was also an accomplished swimmer. Liam loved school and was fond of all of his teachers. He won numerous academic awards and honors, the most prestigious being the D.A. Ferguson Middle School Steve Lucas Memorial Award in 2007.
Liam was very active in the performing arts. He played in the D.A. Ferguson and W.R. Myers school bands and participated in musical theatre, the highlight of which was playing the lead in The Music Man. He took an interest in woodwork over the last two years, finding another creative activity he loved. Liam was also Vice-President of the W.R. Myers student council this year. Outside of school, he was interested in rocketry, heraldry and all things British.
Liam was hard working, dedicated, energetic and intelligent. He reflected positiveness and beauty that people surrounding him picked up and reflected back. He could make people feel they were valued. He made being uncool or different or even silly "cool². He shone like a beacon and enriched the lives of all he touched.

Margaret Joyce Yeoman 1938 – 2012
Margaret "Wiggie" Yeoman of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Roger Yeoman passed away June 18, 2012 at the age of 73 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Wiggie is survived by her three sons Tom, Greg and Allan (Claudia); her mother Margaret Bailey, sisters Sandra (Mike) Parsons and Wendy (Ted) Stevenson, brothers Rick (Linda) Martin and Rob (Linda) Martin, sister-in-law Christine (Mike) Seiler, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Roger, Wiggie was predeceased by her father John James Martin, her brother Glen and his wife Lois, her sister Donelda, nephew James and niece Cindy.
Wiggie was born and raised in Noranda Quebec. In her early 20s she traveled to England where she met her husband Roger after renting a room at his sister’s house. She grew up with cats and dogs and there were always animals in the house. Animals were dear to her, and she always treated them with love and respect.
From the time she was old enough Wiggie was involved with Sunday School, teaching in all the places that she lived. One of her proudest accomplishments was receiving her Gold Cord in Guides and many other awards associated with Guides and camping. Wiggie had many good friends from her Church, the Anglican Church Women and from working at Sears.
Wiggie said she raised three kind and thoughtful sons and she loved them dearly. She also said she has a lovely daughter-in-law who can cook up a storm.
Wiggie enjoyed her trips to Hawaii with her mother and sisters. Her biggest trip was a dream fulfilled when she and Roger traveled to see Israel and to the Passion Play at Oberamergau, Germany that reflected the life of Christ from the Bible. She said it was so well done it took her breath away.
Wiggie wanted to thank everyone who helped her through her illness. Their kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated.

BERNICE MILDRED NEAL passed away on Friday June 15, 2012 in Edmonton at the Royal Alexandra Hospital at the age of 91 years.
Bernice was predeceased by her husband, Harold A. Neal, in 1975, her parents Myrtle (Lundgren) Yeager in 2002 and George Yeager in 1981, and her sister Alice Wood in 2011. She is survived by her sister Doris Ward of Coarsegold, California and Ruby (Roy) Kolesar of Los Angeles, California; son Owen (Patricia) of Drumheller, Alberta; daughter Anita (Jim) Kuzyk of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta; daughter Wilda (Perry) Medisky of Edmonton, Alberta; grandchildren James (Cassandra) Kuzyk of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Stewart (Ashley) Kuzyk of Fort Saskatchewan, Lana Kuzyk of Fort Saskatchewan, Kacie Neal of Lethbridge, Chris Neal of Drumheller, Brandon (Kelsey) Neal of Calgary, Jolene Medisky of Edmonton, and Peter Medisky of Edmonton; two great grandchildren Tatyana Baptiste and Kalem Kuzyk of Fort McMurray; numerous nieces and nephews.
Bernice was born on August 14, 1920 in Medicine Hat, Alberta and raised in Hanley Saskatchewan. She attended Normal School in Saskatoon and taught a number of years in that province. She married Harold Neal of Milk River, Alberta on July 7, 1946. Anita was the firstborn in 1949, followed by Owen in 1953 and Wilda in 1954. Bernice taught school in Milk River for 20 years, retiring in 1975. She was very active in her community, volunteering with church, seniors and arts organizations. She moved to the Edmonton area in 2006. Her last residence was Rosedale Griesbach, Edmonton.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 23rd, 2012 at ST. PAUL'S UNITED CHURCH in Milk River. Interment in the Milk River Cemetery and lunch at the Heritage Hall in Milk River will follow.
