CHRISTIANSON
ERNEST ROY CHRISTIANSON passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, in Lethbridge, on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the age of 82 years.
Besides his wife Jean he will be dearly missed by his daughter Barb (Dwayne) Osberg, son Doug Christianson, and daughter Patti (Kevin) Swidinsky and step-daughter Val (Shane) Pinnock. His grandchildren Kristopher and Kirsten Osberg, Stephanie Christianson, Joshua, Nicholas, and Rylee Swidinsky, Spence (Kim) and Allison Pinnock and one brother-in-law Don Blair.
He is predeceased by his parents, Roy and Lillian, his brother Ken (Butch) and his sister Lois.
Ernie was born in Lethbridge on June 20, 1929. He was raised a true northsider. He graduated high school from LCI and later received his Journeyman Electrician Certificate from SAIT while apprenticing with Roy Electric. He continued his 30 year career working for Central Electric and the Alberta Government. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed camping, building model airplanes and doing puzzles.

Mrs. Bette Jean Hronek passed away on June 9, 2012 at the University Hospital, Edmonton at the age of 71 years. Bette is survived by her son Barry (Mam) Hronek of Houston, Texas and daughter Dawn (Ben) Wiens of Stettler; grandchildren Scott Hronek of Houston, Shaun of Kelowna, Carly of Stettler and Amber of Stettler; her mother Betty Luco of Lethbridge; brother Bob (Wende) Luco of Sacramento, California; nephews Rob Luco of Hawaii and Ben Luco of Sacramento; other relatives and many friends. Bette was predeceased by her father George Luco and her husband James Hronek.

Our dear mother, grandmother and friend passed away in Edith Cavell on June 9, 2012.
She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Georgeson in 1973. She is survived by her daughter Sharon (Barry) Kimery of Lethbridge; son Michael (Martha) Georgeson of Red Deer; her cherished grandchildren, Michael (Helle) Kimery of Lethbridge, Dr. Michelle Kimery (Nathan Buhler) of Regina, Adam Georgeson of College Station, Texas and Raymond (Christina) Georgeson of Red Deer; her great-grandchildren Nickolej (Meghan) Villiger, Natasha and Nikita Villiger, and Mikail (Courtney) Villiger; Other family loved ones Betty Jean Millar (niece), Debbie Millar, Derri Fengsted, Susan Carl, Douglas and Jay Popovitch, Lori Schoustal; and long time friend Jean Carswell.
Lily was a thoughtful, kind and generous lady. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. Her memory will be cherished in our hearts forever. We will remember and love her always, our dear Lily.

CLAYTON "Clayt" PLAYFORD died on June 10, 2012, at home in Lethbridge, Alberta, just hours after celebrating his 83rd birthday with family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend Micki Playford, nee Mildred Bush of Lethbridge, daughters Joanne (Mel) Rodgers of Lethbridge, Cheryle (Robert Tufts) Playford of Calgary, sons Lee (Joan) of Sudbury, John of Ft. McMurray, and Dan (Laura) of Lac La Biche. He leaves behind his sister Eileen Carr (Travel Buddy Bert) of Peterborough and brother, Jack of Charlton. He is also survived by adoring grandchildren Pam, Colin, Chris, Jolene, Schuyler, Harlan, Ashlin, Lindsay, Thalia, Carla, Cory, Gina, Daly, and Landon, as well as eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his mother, Annie and his father, Norman.
Clayton was born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario in 1929. He was a logger and a sawyer, a hard-rock miner and a Harley rider, a pilot and an industrial mechanic, a family man and a community organizer, a world traveler and an entrepreneur. He had a ready warm smile, a passion for life, and a willingness to embrace new ideas.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 16th, 2012 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge, with Valerie Martell-Kostiuk, officiating. A Memorial Service will also be held this summer in Charlton, Ontario.

SEREDINSKI
Sylvia Seredinski, born May 20, 1944, passed away peacefully in Lethbridge, June 6, 2012 at the age of 68 years. Sylvia is now reunited with her parents, brother Ken, sister Margaret and brother Bryan
Besides her loving husband Harry, Sylvia is survived by her loving daughter, Darla (Blaine) Owen and her loving son, Stacey Paul (Tonya) Seredinski; her grandchildren Malina, Mataya, Marek, Chelsea and Kamryn, along with three sisters, Loretta Goertzen of Calgary, Marie Oseen of Lethbridge and Patsy (Rick) Frappier of Coaldale; three brothers, Ron (Janet) Low of Lethbridge, Gordon (Valene) Low of Raymond and Boyd (Dorothy) Low of Lethbridge, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Sylvia is also survived by sister-in-law Shirley (Frank - deceased) Gross along with their children, Brian and Chrissy.
Sylvia was predeceased by her parents Clesson and Irene Low, oldest brother, Ken, youngest brother, Bryan and third oldest sister, Margaret as well as special nephew Shaun Oseen.
Sylvia (PeeWee), was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother in the lives of her extended family and will be fondly missed and remembered for her quiet disposition, easy, friendly, helpful ways and for her integrity and dedication to family. Sylvia was an avid bingo player at all bingo halls. In her younger years she worked as a food demonstrator and lounge worker. She greatly enjoyed taking care of her home, inside and out.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Central Church of Christ, 716-23 St. N, Lethbridge at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2012, with Rev. Mark Noonan from Bridge City Church of the Nazarene officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date.

STICKEL
CLIFFORD RAYMOND STICKEL, beloved husband of Marion Stickel passed away peacefully at the Milk River Health Centre on Sunday, June10, 2012, at the age of 89 years.
Cliff is survived by his loving wife Marion, sons Brian (Gail), Brent (Elaine), and Jim (Peggie); grandchildren Chad, Kristi, Stephanie, and Sandi; great grandchildren Sydney, Logan and Cooper.
He is also survived by brother Clarence (Anna); sisters Viona (Dugald), Irene, and Violet; sister-in-laws Frances, Gloria, and Emma; brother-in-law Larry and numerous nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his parents Fred and Lydia Stickel; brothers Billy, and Wilbur; sister Lorraine.
Dad was born on January 11, 1923, in North Dakota. At a very young age he moved with his family to a homestead south of Seven Persons. Dad moved to Medicine Hat as a young adult where he would meet his future wife Marion Maser.
Dad and Mom were wed in October, 1945 and moved to Milk River in 1946. Shortly after arriving Dad decided to become an automobile mechanic, a career that would last for many years. The family of two would grow to five with the arrival of their three sons.
Dad was a man of integrity, He was a role model for his sons in his approach to life. He taught us about the importance of hard work, of being a good man, about taking responsibility for our actions.
Dad and Mom celebrated their 65th anniversary in October, 2011. Their love and respect for each other was an inspiration for all.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1:30 p.m Wednesday June 13, 2012 at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, T1K 7B1 Lethbridge.
