ENGLEHART
EUGENE ENGLEHART, beloved husband of Wendy Englehart, passed away at the St. Michael's Health Centre on Monday, January 21st, 2013 at the age of 62 years.
He is survived by his children and 4 grandchildren; Stacey (Shaun) Marissa & Gavin Kinniburgh of Taber, Denny (Ray) Alyssa & Jenna Englehart of Calgary, and his mother Edith of Lethbridge, his brother Gordie, two sisters Delores (Harry) Hubbard, Margaret (Jerry) Jensen, and stepbrother Ron (Mary) Andre, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Gene is predeceased by his father Emil Englehart, stepfather Jim Andre, father-in-law Johnnie Anderson, mother-in-law Louise Anderson, and daughter-in-law Linda Englehart.
Gene was employed at ATCO Gas for 32 years. Over the many years he enjoyed working and creating numerous friendships. Gene enjoyed many pastimes; such as fishing, camping, hockey, and more recently found a love for Motor biking on his Honda, but his true passion was golf, he was a long time member of Land-O-Lakes, and looked forward to Fast League.
Family was truly important to Gene, his grandchildren brought him a lot of joy and laughter, he was always willing to give advice and support to those close to him.
Gene will forever be in our hearts. As Gene believed; "I know I was born, I know I will die, The in-between is mine"
A Celebration of Gene's Life will be held at COLLEGE DRIVE COMMUNITY CHURCH - 2710 College Drive South, Lethbridge, Alberta on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. with Deacon Frank Peta Officiating.

GEIGER
January 25, 1934 - January 19, 2013
LILLIAN "JEAN" JEANETTE GEIGER, beloved wife of the late Anton "Tony" Geiger, passed away on January 19th, 2013 after a short stay at St. Michaels Health Centre.
She is survived by and will always be lovingly remembered by her son Don Geiger; daughter Deanna (Zenon) Malec; grandchildren: Sheri-Lynn, Joshua (Sheri), Nicole (Jon), Hayley (Matthew) and Mark (Judy); great- grandchildren: Mason, Parker, Kelsi, Chloe, Scarlett, David and Kyle; her sisters: Georgina, Audrey (Alan); brothers: James (Hilda), Kenneth (Ann Louise), Keith (Bernice), Charles (Edith) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jean was predeceased by her parents, Victoria and George, her husband Tony, brother John Robert, sisters: Kathleen and Anne.
She married Tony Geiger on June 20th, 1952. In 1964 they moved from Moose Jaw, SK. to Lethbridge, where she resided until her passing. Jean had a wide variety of jobs and later spent many hours volunteering at the St. Michael's gift shop, the Soup Kitchen and the Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre/the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization, to name a few.
Before moving to Martha's House, she always grew large vegetable gardens and donated some of the harvest. Jean loved growing flowers, which were everywhere in her yard. She also enjoyed going to the casino, dancing, travelling, playing cards and spending time with family.
A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, Ab. on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. with Deacon Cliff Bogdan officiating.
A private family interment will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
Our family sends a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Geers for his outstanding compassion, understanding and care of our beloved mother. We hope he knows how much we appreciate everything he did.

HEGGIE
Passed away in Raymond on Sunday, January 20th 2013. LOYIA WILLIAMS HEGGIE at the age of 89 years, beloved wife of the late Douglas Fawns Heggie of Raymond.
Loyia was born in Cardston on December 8, 1923 to Ves and Myrtle Williams. She received her education in Glenwood and Raymond. She married Doug Heggie on October 10th, 1941. They raised their family of five children mostly in the Raymond, Rosemary and Milk River areas. Loyia was an excellent cook which not only benefited her family but gave her an opportunity for extra income as she cooked for thrashing crews in her early years and had her own baking business in her later years selling spudnuts, butterhorns and other delicious things. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Loyia was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She filled many calls to serve over the years, and one of her most memorable was working in the Cardston Alberta Temple.
Loyia is survived by four of her children: Doreen (Rob) Galicz of Brooks, Jack (Jeanne) Heggie of Raymond, Joan (Dennis) Dick of Wetaskiwin, Sandra (Bruce) Francis of Taber, and her son-in-law Ron Treleaven of Calgary; 24 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren and two sisters, Beth Kesler and Vesta Anderson both of Raymond.
Besides her husband, Doug; she was predeceased by her parents Ves and Myrtle Williams; two sisters, Mary Maude Williams and Hortense Roberts; her daughter Shirley Treleaven and her great grandson Garhett Marshall Treleaven all of whom she dearly loved.
Friends may meet the family on Friday evening, January 25, 2013 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the LDS – Raymond Stake Centre, and prior to the funeral service on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, RAYMOND STAKE CENTRE, 2 N, 200 W, Raymond at 11:00 a.m, with Bishop Ron McMullin officiating.
Interment to follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond.

KALETA
MICHAEL KALETA passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the age of 92 years.
Mike was born in the Ukraine on March 6, 1920. He came to Canada in 1926 (approx) with his mother and sister – Ann; settling in Lethbridge. Mike attended Galbraith School, sold Herald newspapers and then went into the egg and poultry business.
On January 20, 1951, he married Joyce. When Mike retired in 1985, he and Joyce enjoyed an early retirement, travelling from coast to coast, cruising the Caribbean and in later years travelling to Mexico in the winter. He was an avid gardener and great sports fan, and lived a full life.
Mike is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joyce, sister Ann Knox and son Gary, and sister Ella Wilk, son Gerald of Calgary, and one special niece Violet Knox.
He is predeceased by his mother Anna, father Peter, brothers-in-law William Knox and John Wilk.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at FIRST UNITED CHURCH, 502-13 Street North, Lethbridge. Viewing will be available one hour prior to the service.

Reta Ethel Koch (nee: Orr)
January 8th, 1916 – January 16th, 2013
Reta Ethel Koch, of Nanton, widow of the late Albert Koch passed away, at the age of 97, Wednesday, January 16 with her family at her side. Reta was born and educated at Enchant, Alberta. She attended Calgary Normal School and taught at Badger Lake, Rocky Rapids, Dovercourt, Enchant and Herrington before marrying Alberta Koch and moving to Nanton where they farmed until retiring to Nanton in 1971. She was predeceased by her parents, Beatrice and William Orr, her siblings Lucille (1921), Ronald (1938) and Betty Davidson (2002) and her husband, Albert (1983). She is survived by her daughter Sheila and Bob Lake, her grandchildren Tracey (Tom) Brewster, Rob (Danielle) Lake and her great grandchildren, Tiana and Mitchell Lake, Brice Robins - Lake and Brinn Robins – Lake and Derek Brewster. The family extend thanks to Dr. Tenove, the caring staff of the Silver Willow Lodge and staff of unit 81 at the Foothills Hospital. A Celebration of Reta’s life will be held at the Nanton – Parkland United Church Saturday, January 26th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Flowers are gratefully declined. MRS. ANN SENNEKER (SLOMP) of Lethbridge, beloved wife of John passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the age of 79 years old.
Ann was born on June 7, 1933 in the Netherlands. Besides her loving husband John of 51 years, she is survived by her daughter Helen, and much loved grandchildren J.D., Ravyn, and Seanna. She is also survived by her 7 siblings, Diane (Melle) Pool, Bertha (John) Van Zeggelaar, Anno (Ena), Walter (Mina), Harry (Bonnie), Clarence (Elsa), and Bert (Trudie); in-laws, George, Jan (Ruth), Ben (Hennie), Henry (Sharon), Jennie DeWolde and Audrey (Lou) Keegstra; and will be missed dearly by numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
She was predeceased by her parents, parents-in-law as well as 5 sibling and 5 in-laws.
Ann was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who had a tremendous passion for life. Her faith in her Lord and Saviour was evident in all that she did.
