Besides Dorothy, his loving wife of fifty eight years, Whendy is survived
by their children Brenda (Jim) Rabusic of Taber, Brian (Marilyn) Kambeitz of
Taber, Darrell (Fay) Kambeitz of Camrose and son-in-law Barney Kerkhoff of
Taber; grandchildren Chris (Jamie) Rabusic, Ken (Amanda) Rabusic, Brad (Ren)
Rabusic, Lindsay (Rob) Wise, Kevin (Catherine) Kerkhoff, Michelle (Chad)
Wiebe, Karly Kambeitz, Brandon Kambeitz, Davis Kambeitz, Stephen (Ashley)
Kambeitz, Michael Kambeitz and Stewart (Jamie) Kambeitz; great grandsons
Evan, Blake, Nolan, Parker, Ryley, Carter, Konnor and Lincoln. He is also
survived by his sisters Lena Ell and Barbara Henderson; sisters-in-law
Katherine Einarson, Sheila Torsher and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his beloved daughter Kathy Kerkhoff on August 25,
2010; parents Jacob & Margaret Kambeitz; sister Mary Raber and numerous
brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Whendy was born in Bow Island on September 30, 1933. He married Dorothy
Torscher October 24, 1953. He worked for the Department of Highways for
twenty eight years. He spent the last sixteen years working with the staff
at Southland Funeral Chapel serving the families of his community, many of
whom he knew so well.
Whendy was an avid and competitive gardener who took a lot of pride in his
yard. He loved sweets and was a cordial host, always wanting to know if you
were hungry or if there was anything he could get for you. He enjoyed his
morning ritual “coffeeing” with his friends at the A&W.
Whendy was a proud grandparent. He loved his grandkids and great grandkids
and would always relish an opportunity to talk about them. He never missed
an opportunity to tease and play practical jokes. Whendy was a kind and
wonderful man who will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by everyone he
knew.

LAZZARETTO
1916-2012
TERESA LAZZARETTO (née Cecco) passed away peacefully in hospital on the morning of Friday, April 27, 2012 at the beautiful age of 96 years. She will be well-remembered by all who knew and loved her.
She was born on March 6, 1916, in the town of San Vito al Tagliamento, Italy. There, she met and married her beloved husband, Luigi, and the pair had two children. In 1956, Teresa and her young family moved to Canada and
settled in Lethbridge. She was a determined woman and a hard worker who managed a house and family in addition to regular employment.
Teresa loved being with people and visiting with friends. Even after moving from her home to Legacy Lodge, she was sure to be seen at the table with a cup of coffee and a friendly wave for all passers-by. She was truly grateful for the home care and health care staff who assisted her in her last years. She was a formidable gardener and cook, always having a large vegetable garden and a freezer full of her best sauces and breads. But her greatest joy was always her grandchildren.
In addition to her kitchen and garden, Teresa will be remembered for her enthusiastic enjoyment of hockey and wrestling, her illuminating smile, and her infectious laugh. 
She is survived by her loving children, Joanne (Ken) Mack of Pincher Creek and George (Bonnie) Lazzaretto of Lethbridge, 7 grandchildren: Patrick Mack of Calgary, Johnathan (Nancy) Mack of Montreal, Elizabeth Mack, and Peter Mack, both of Lethbridge, Danille (Jeff) Lazzaretto-Green of Lethbridge, Marina Lazzaretto of New York City, and Adam Lazzaretto of Langley, BC, and 2 step-grandchildren, Taylor and Steven Bartel of Lethbridge. Teresa was recently blessed with her first great-grandchild, Finnegan Mack of Montreal, with a second on the way in Lethbridge.

LEE
ARTHUR LEE beloved husband of the late Mildred Lee, passed away, suddenly at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge on Thursday, April 26, 2012.
Arthur was born on September 27, 1922 in Lethbridge to William and Ellen Lee. He was a veteran of World War II and served with the Canadian Armed Forces (Lake Superior Regiment) in England and Holland. After the war, he returned to Lethbridge and in 1947 he married Nancy Mildred Morrison. Together they raised two daughters who he fondly referred to as his "girls". He loved his grandsons with joy and pride and made sure his family was taken care of even if he had to sacrifice something important to him. Arthur worked in the trucking industry for many years and even in his early seventies he thoroughly enjoyed working for Fernie Cartage on a part-time basis. 
He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Judy Close and Kathryn (Jim Doepker) Lee; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Close, Kevin Close (Beth), Craig (Sunni Bell) Thiessen and his sister Doris Neden and her son, Gregg (Pat) Neden; 3 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. 
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at the Archmount Cemetery.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Sandra Elaine age 55 years on April 27, 2012 at the St. Boniface Hospital. 
Left to cherish Sandra's memory is her husband of 35 years, Bryan, children Kyle and Ashley, parents Joe and Violet Neduzak, sister Gail (Tom), Brett and Natalie and brother Brad (Janet), Jordan and Megan. In laws, Dave and Elmire Whitehead of Lethbridge, Alberta and brothers in law Ken and Bob Whitehead and their families.
Sandra was born May 2, 1956 and was raised on the family farm in Beausejour, Manitoba. She graduated from the Beausejour High School and continued her education at Red River College. She was employed at the Canadian Wheat Board and later at the Winnipeg Taxation Centre. 
Sandra enjoyed spending weekends at the family farm and tending to her flower beds
at home. She enjoyed camping with her family and especially the permanent campsite at Ritcher Manitoba.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful people at the palliative care unit in St. Boniface Hospital and to special friends Kim, Chris and Ivan.
A service of remembrance celebrating Sandra's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway #1 East at Navin Rd., Winnipeg, MB.

SOMMERFELDT
DORYTA DAWN SOMMERFELDT, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the age of 75 years, beloved wife of Mark Sommerfeldt.
Doryta was born in Cardston, AB. on October 10, 1936 to LeMont and Thora (Burton) Jensen. Doryta grew up and attended school in Cardston.
Doryta then went on to attend the Idaho Falls School of Nursing where she graduated in September of 1957. From an early age Doryta always knew she wanted to be a nurse and loved nursing. Doryta married Mark Nelson Sommerfeldt in the Cardston Alberta Temple in 1961. Together, they had three children. Doryta enjoyed being a loving mother and wife. After raising her daughters Doryta returned to work at the Grandview Nursing Home and enjoyed her nursing career again. Doryta loved reading , writing poetry, cooking, camping at Echo and gardening. Her greatest love was her grandchildren. Doryta loved serving in church callings especially the primary. Doryta had a kind soft spoken spirit and made friends easily. She will be missed by all those who love her.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Mark Sommerfeldt; three children, Lisa (Duane) Jasperson, Cheryl (Mike) Smith, and Kelly (Darren) Adamson; 6 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, James LeMont and Thora (Burton) Jensen.
Friends may meet the family at LEGACY FUNERAL HOME, Cardston ONLY on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2012 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
