SYLVIA BRAITHWAITE (nee Christensen), beloved wife of Keith, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Welling, Alberta, on January 16 at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop Randy Wilde officiating. Friends may meet the family from 12:30 to 12:50 p.m. prior to the service.
Interment will follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery in Raymond.

JOYCE HOYT, passed away peacefully at home, in Lethbridge, on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the age of 83 years.
Joyce is lovingly remembered by her four daughters: Wanda (Stan) Stryker, Debbie Turnbull (Wally Chesko), Brenda (Rob) Taylor, and Colleen Hoyt (Ken Babick). She is also survived by her loving husband Ernie Plunet and his children, Ward Plunet, Josh Plunet (Karen) and Chris Olsen. She is also survived by her sister Linnea Barnett. Joyce has 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Joyce was predeceased by her first husband James Louis (Bill) Hoyt, her brother Roy Johnson and her sister Madeline Dunlop.
Joyce was born in South Dakota on August 6, 1929. She farmed in Del Bonita for 47 years. Farming was a big part of her life and was actively involved. She was a great cook, a wonderful mother and wife as well as a devoted grandmother. Her winters were spent in Yuma, Arizona. In 2003 she retired with Ernie to Lethbridge, where she resided until her passing.
The funeral service will be held at MCKILLOP UNITED CHURCH, 2329-15th Avenue South, Lethbridge on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 12 Noon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Beloved wife of Darryl Hutchings of Stirling, loving mother of Guy Simon and wife Katherine of Lethbridge, Dana Lee and husband Jeff Saby of Kamloops and John and Craig Hutchings of Calgary. Grandmother of Adrian, Kyle, Courtney, Simon Cole, Owen and Eva; great-grandmother of Alexis and Braxton. Predeceased by her parents George and Miriam Santa, and sister Wilma (Santa) Winter. Smart, good looking and fun loving she will be missed by her sister Janet Sheen; brothers Gary, Skip, Don and Les Santa and their families; her extended family in Southern Alberta; and all those that knew her. She was an avid gardener and interior decorator. Her greatest joy was outdoors in her flower gardens. Traveled widely and lived in many different places she shared her extensive education, exceptional talents, broad experience and zest for life as a community outreach worker and friend. She helped many people and they responded with kindness to her and now she is gone to a better place, but her imprint will never fade.
A Celebration of Laurette’s Life will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at COUNTRY KITCHEN CATERING, 1715 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge. Have fun. That’s the way she would like it. Once the crocuses are out, her favorite flower, a private ceremony will be held at her ancestral home of Milk River.

MR. KENNETH "KEN" WALTER MARSH of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Valerie Ann Marsh, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the age of 72 years.
Ken was born on February 17, 1940 in Taber, Alberta to Earl and Kathleen Marsh. Ken was a Rancher and farmer in the Elkwater and Vauxhall area where he enjoyed buying and breaking horses and being a Rodeo Cowboy. Ken also worked as a Truck Driver, travelling all over Canada and the United States. He also had a love for hunting birds and big game as well as fishing. Ken’s biggest joys in his life were his wife, children, grandkids and great-granddaughters, which brought a twinkle to his eye and put the smile on his face.
Besides his loving wife Valerie, Ken is survived by his children Karen (Brian) Firth, Kevin (Ginger) Marsh and Ingrid Marsh; grandchildren Melissa (Brent) Bossio, Angela Thomson (Thibeault), Clayton (Jaz) Thibeault, Cody (Sam) Firth, Erik, Scott, Chase, Kyle, Veronica, Serenity and Ruth; great-granddaughters Alexis and Kacey; siblings Jim Marsh, Phil (Sue) Marsh, Marvin (Teddy), and Ann Johnson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
Ken was predeceased by his son Gene Marsh, parents Earl and Kathleen, parents-in-law Telman and Jean Johnson, brother-in-law Dean Johnson, and sister-in-law Elaine (Lano) Marsh.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm on Friday, January 18, 2013 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge.
