COOK
BEATRICE MARION COOK, beloved wife of DONALD COOK, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully with members of her family by her side at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the age of 76 years. Besides her loving husband she leaves to cherish her memory her three children, Jerry (Sharon), Carol (Nick), and Jackie; nine grandchildren, Ashleigh (Dave), Jeremy (Amanda), Chrystal (Alex), Brittany (Will), Ainsleigh, Steven, Nicole, Aimee, and Ryan as well as two great-grandchildren, Kaston and Kingston. She is also survived by her brother Gordon Chalmers, brother-in-law Joe Cook, and sister-in-law Susan (Morley) Roelofs. She was predeceased by her parents Duncan and Alice Chalmers.
Beatrice was born on November 16, 1935 at the Galt Hospital. She attended Galbraith Elementary School and Hamilton Junior High. She worked for American Optical as a technician for a number of years. On May 25, 1957, she married Don Cook in Lethbridge. She devoted her life to raising their three children, Jerry, Carol, and Jackie.
Her kind heart touched many people throughout her life. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and had a real soft spot for babies. The most recent highlight was her two new great-grandsons, Kaston (4), and Kingston (2 Weeks). She was also a very understanding person to the elderly or the infirm. Beatrice will be greatly missed, but she will live in our hearts forever.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the PARK MEADOWS BAPTIST CHURCH, 2011 - 15th Avenue North, Lethbridge, AB, T1H 5J4, on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 1:00 PM.
A Private graveside service will take place at the Archmount Cemetery after the luncheon.

FREIHAUT
KATHARINA FREIHAUT of Coalhurst beloved wife of Frank Freihaut passed away peacefully at Foothills Hospital in Calgary on February 24, 2012 at the age of 73 years.
Katharina was born in Vucevci, Croatia on May 5, 1938 to Joseph & Eva Kremenik and the sister to Hans Kremenik. In 1944 the family left Croatia to reside in Kapfenberg, Austria where Katharina finished her schooling. On May 23, 1953 their family immigrated to Canada landing in Raymond-Lethbridge area. Katharina eventually took employment in the grocery trade for 40+ years. She married her love Frank Freihaut on May 10, 1958 and raised 3 children, first living in north Lethbridge then moving to the farm in Kipp in 1966. Her family was very important to Katharina, Robert (Connie) Freihaut, Dean (Lisa) Freihaut, Rosalinde (Guy) Perozak and her grandchildren which she was extremely proud of; Mace Perozak, Forrest, McKenzie, Chance, Meaghan & Brittany Freihaut.
Katharina was an extremely active woman with St. Basil’s Church Choir, Catholic Women’s league, Ethnic Association, Rocky Mountain Cloggers, 55 Club, Lethbridge Senior Centre and # 1 fan for her grandchildren’s sports events. Her greatest passion was dancing although she loved to travel, planting flowers and doing her yard work was also a true love and she worked very hard at it. There was never a day when you left her Kitchen and went home hungry.
Besides her loving parents Joseph & Eva Kremenik, Katharina was predeceased by Paul & Anna Freihaut; son Edward Freihaut and 2 grandsons Kyle & Adam Perozak.
A Prayer Vigil will be held at 7:00PM on Wednesday February 29, 2012 at the MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4 Street South, Lethbridge, AB.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM on March 1, 2012 at ST. BASIL’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 13 Street North, Lethbridge, AB with Father Tim Boyle, officiating.
A Private family interment will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.

Mary Jane Kerrison (nee Murphy), beloved wife of the late Tom Kerrison, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in Lethbridge on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the age of 90 years.

Mary is survived by her daughters Georgia (Ron) Almack of Westbank, British Columbia, and Darlene (Art) Williams of Taber; grandchildren Tom Williams of Port Alberni, British Columbia, Craig Almack of Westbank, British Columbia, Angela Williams of Taber, Cheryl Williams of Calgary, Corry (Ken) Moline of Taber, Kyla Williams of Victoria, British Columbia, Jesse Williams of Taber; thirteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Tom Kerrison; parents Martha and George Murphy; sisters Minnie Burns, Myrtle Ferguson, Martha Smith, Leona Seely and Viola Haynes; brothers George Murphy and Bill Murphy; brothers-in-law Jack Burns, Jim Ferguson, George Smith, Frank Seely, Harold Haynes and sister-in-law Nora Murphy.
Mary was born July 3, 1921 in Purple Springs, the youngest daughter of Martha (nee Benke) and George Murphy. She grew up on the family farm in Barnwell where she received her education. She later moved with her family to Taber. Mary remained in the family home until she married Tom Kerrison, the love of her life. Tom and Mary moved to Nelson, British Columbia where they raised their two daughters. In 1987 they returned to Taber where they spent their retirement years. After Tom¹s passing, Mary spent the remainder of her years at the West Highland Centre in Lethbridge.

MUTCH
HILDA MARY MUTCH, beloved wife of the late Robert Mutch, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 at the age of 94 years.
She is survived by a daughter; Judie (Jim) Ash, a son; Allan (Leigh) Mutch, a son; Richard (Cindy) Mutch, a daughter; Shelagh Mutch and a daughter-in-law Lavon Mutch. Also her grandchildren Shaun (Jackie) – great grandchildren Gracie Bell and Jefferson, Ben and Calvin Mutch, Darcey (Gail) – great grandson Connor, and Kori Ash, Devin and Christine Mutch.
Hilda was predeceased by her husband Robert in 1998, her son Rob in 2008 and a granddaughter Julie.
Hilda always thought of others first. For years she knit winter clothing for the food bank, donated to the ‘Back packs for Kids’ return to school program, many other charitable organizations and was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

WON
MARGE WON, beloved wife of Jay Won Sr. of Lethbridge, passed away with her family at her side at home on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the age of 73 years.
Besides her loving husband she is survived by two daughters from her previous marriage, Christine and Cindy (Albert) Downs, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her children; Jay (Debbie) Won, Robert (Colleen) Won, Susan Won, Tammy (Bruce) Himsl. Grandchildren; Sean, Daryl, Sara, and Colton. She was predeceased by her parents, two brother and one son.
Marge was born on August 4, 1938 in Hamburg, Germany. She immigrated to Canada in her childhood and settled in southern Alberta. Marge and Jay met in 1962 and have been together for 50 years. Marge was an avid gardener and loved her garden. She enjoyed crocheting and the outdoors. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Janzen and the staff of the Chinook Regional Health Center for their care and attention.
A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 1:00 p.m., with Deacon Frank Peta, Officiant.
Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
