NICHOLAS YALOWEGA
October 10, 1943 – February 4, 2013
On February 4, 2013, Nicky’s journey on earth ended and with almost unbearable sadness we said out last goodbye. Left to treasure our memories of this wonderful husband, best friend in the world, dad and papa are his wife Gwendo, his children Carrie (Adam and grandson Erik), Thea (David and “sweet little Emily”) and Seth (Jill); special aunt Joyce and uncle Alex, Gwendo’s family who always considered Nicky one of “them” as well as many good friends who meant the world to him. He also leaves his mom Annie and other family members.
Nick was a friend who never said no to helping anyone anytime. He loved to sit and visit, have friends over and camp but most of all his family was his world and we will miss him as long as we live.
A Funeral Mass will be held at ST. BASILS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 – 13 St. North, Lethbridge on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 11:00 A.M., with Father Kevin Tumback, Celebrant.
