MIKE FARAGO passed away peacefully at home on Friday July 27, 2012 at the
age of 72 years, beloved husband of Frances Farago.
Vigil Rites (Prayers) will be held on Wednesday August 1, 2012 at 7:00PM in
the MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610- 4 Street South, Lethbridge, AB.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday August 2, 2012 at 11:00AM in the OUR

HELEN MARJORIE "MARGE" FRIER
July 17, 1929-July 31, 2012
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mom, grandma
and great grandma at the age of 83 years. She was predeceased by her loving
husband Doug in 1992 and her parents Charles and Kathleen (Loree) Masson.
She is survived by her children Grant (Colleen) Frier, Cathie Mitchell,
Suzan (Eric) Geisreiter, and Shari (Frank) De Coste; her grandchildren Kelly
(Tom) Mortlock, Shannon (Cheyno) Finnie, Jennifer (Derek) Duke, Christine
Geisreiter, Michael De Coste and Derek De Coste; and her great-grandchildren
Marcus, Russell, Nathyn and Jordan Mortlock, Marshall, Emmitt and Payton
Finnie and Naia Duke.
Marge was born and raised in Lethbridge and lived here all her life. Mom
cherished her family and the times spent together with them. She especially
enjoyed being a grandma and grandma-great.
A private family service will be held at her request.

IMESON
MRS. MARGARET CATHERINE IMESON (nee Astle), beloved wife of the late Mr. Wm
Rex Imeson, passed away in Lethbridge on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at the age
of 96 years.
Margaret was born in Prince Albert Saskatchewan to John and Catherine Astle
on October 3, 1915 and moved with her family to Lethbridge in 1922. She
spent the remainder of her life in Lethbridge and Coalhurst.
Margaret is survived by her son Larry (Ora deceased) of Lethbridge and their
sons Darcy (Roberta Saga) of Sparwood, BC and Jeff of Coalhurst; her son
Marvin (Colleen) of Lethbridge and their children Jody (Paul Beaubin) of
Calgary and Wade of Saskatoon, SK. Missing her are also her
great-grandchildren Rhianna and Triston Meilleur, Spencer Imeson and Sheadin
Imeson.
She was predeceased by two grandchildren (Larry¹s children) Cynthia (Neil)
Meilleur and Cameron Imeson of Ottawa; her parents and all of her siblings
sisters Mildred Wood, Alice (Duncan) Chalmers, Florence (Mike) Duda,
Beatrice (Slim) Owre and brothers Joe (May), Bill, and Gordon (Rita) Astle.
Margaret was raised and attended school in Lethbridge and worked for several
retail business before retiring from Sears and spent much of her retirement
working in her yard and garden. She enjoyed traveling, visiting family and
friends and always looked forward to visiting a good restaurant for an
enjoyable meal. Margaret was a gracious host and always had a pot to tea and
treats for all her visitors and enjoyed their company and hearing all the
latest happenings.
Margaret was a resident of Park Meadows Good Samaritans since January 2009.
Her family would like to thank the staff there for providing exemplary care
and companionship in her years there, especially those in Cottage 7 where
she resided.
At Margaret¹s requested there will be a private family service. The family
requests if desired that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to your
favourite charity.

Feb 19, 1922 - July 28, 2012
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved
Dziadek. He was Dad to Kas, Don and Linda; Grandfather to Tanya and Adam,
Zak, Riley, Dustin and Jayden, Stefanie, Sandra and Eric; Greatgrandfather
of Alex, Kaitlyn and Jacob. He has now joined his grandson, Michael, and his
wife, Katherine, also called Baba by her grandkids. A private celebration of
his life will be held on Aug 2. If desired, donations in Ludwig's name can
be made to the Arthritis Society.


MARSHALL
MELVIN ANTHONY MARSHALL of Pincher Creek (formerly of Medicine Hat) passed
away on Sunday, July 29, 2012, at the age of 48 years, beloved father of
Adam Marshall of Pincher Creek and Katrina Marshall of Medicine Hat as well
as their mother Myra Marshall of Medicine Hat. He also leaves to cherish his
memory his parents, Katherine and Mike A. Marshall of Medicine Hat; three
brothers, Jeff (Bernice) Marshall, Mark Marshall and Mike Marshall (Pam
Cursons); his nieces and nephews, Sherry (Shawn) Chase, Darren (Melissa)
Marshall, Jodie Marshall, Shawn Marshall and Cash Hagen; great nephews, Alex
Dieno, Austin Chase, Wyatt and Ryley Marshall, Kruz Marshall. Melvin¹s life
began on April 8, 1964 in Leader Saskatchewan, then moving into Medicine Hat
one year later. Growing up he attended school at St. Marys and continued
into McCoy High school. Melvin abounded in all sports but had a specific
love for hockey which he excelled in from pee wee through to the success of
the WHL with Medicine Hat Tigers and Prince Albert Raiders. He then went to
MHC and achieved his degree in power engineering. Mel started his career
with Shell Waterton in 1985 dedicating 27 years of hard work. Melvin met
Myra and they made their home in Pincher Creek and had 2 beloved children,
Adam and Katrina. Although Melvin had an extreme passion for his work, he
loved nothing more than enjoying the outdoors and creating unforgettable
memories with his children, friends and family in hunting, fishing, camping,
dirt-biking and boating. As we reminisce on the phenomenal memories Melvin
leaves with us and embed his contagious smile and laugh into our hearts, we
raise our glass and ask "what¹s shagggggin?" A private family prayer service
will take place on Thursday evening. Those who wish to pay their respects
may doso at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Thursday evening from 8:00 - 9:00
p.m. and at the church on Friday from 9:30 - 10:25 a.m. The funeral service
will be held in Holy Family Parish (1451 Strachan Road SE) on Friday, August
3, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Philip Le officiating. A private interment
will follow in the Hillside Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. Those

been established for Adam and Katrina c/o of their mother Myra Marshall.

SISTER ISABEL MACEACHERN
MacEACHERN, Sister Isabel, 75, formerly Sister John Maria, a Sister of St.
Martha of Antigonish, died at Bethany, the motherhouse of the Congregation,
on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 in the 52nd year of her religious life.
Sister Isabel was the oldest in a family of ten children born to the late
John Alex and Mary (MacEachern) MacEachern of Glendale, Inverness Co., NS.
Sister Isabel received her Junior Diploma in Education from St. Francis
Xavier University in 1956 and taught school for two years prior to entering
the Sisters of St. Martha. She raised her license to T.C. 5 by attending
Summer Schools and, in 1972, Sister received her Bachelor of Arts and
Bachelor of Education Degrees from St. Francis Xavier University,
Antigonish. In 1974 she received her Diploma in Religious Education from the
Divine Word Institute in London, ON, and in 1984, her Masters Degree in
Religious Education from LaSalle College, Philadelphia, PA.
Sister Isabel entered the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Martha on
August 15, 1958. She pronounced her first temporary vows on August 15, 1960,
and her perpetual vows on August 15, 1965. Her years of ministry in
education brought her to St. Mary¹s Convent, East Bay, St. Theresa¹s
Convent, Margaree, Villa Madonna, Bras d¹Or, and St. Ann¹s Convent,
Guysborough. After her studies in Religious Education, Sister Isabel became
Religious Education Coordinator in the following places: Christ the King
Parish in Trenton, the Northside Deanery area in Cape Breton and Our Lady of
Perpetual Help Parish in North Kamloops, BC. Sister Isabel, also, served as
Pastoral Worker in St. Paul¹s River on the Lower North Shore of Quebec for
five years. She ministered as Outreach Coordinator and Spiritual Director at
Bethany Retreat Centre in Antigonish for nine years, and as Spiritual and
Program Director at Martha Retreat Centre in Lethbridge, AB, for four years.
Sister Isabel returned to Bethany in 2009.
Besides her parents, Sister Isabel was predeceased by three brothers, Angus
Bernard, Douglas Gerard and Lawrence Gerard. She is survived by one brother:
John Alexander; and by six sisters, Frances Lorraine Kneier, Helen Rosalind,
Irene Elizabeth, Jessie Mielke, Kathleen MacDonald and Mary T. MacMaster.
The remains will be resting at Bethany, beginning Friday, August 3rd at 1:15
p.m. A Celebration of Vigil will be held on the same evening at 7:30.
Liturgy of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, August 4th at 2:00
p.m. in Bethany Chapel.

KLAAS VELDMAN, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and
friend went home to his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 30, 2012 at the age
of 78.

JAMES FREDRICK (JIMMY) WILSON of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Sheryl Lynn
Wilson passed away suddenly on July 24, 2012 at the age of 51 years.
A Celebration of Jim¹s Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 2,
