BEXTE
Hubert Anton Bexte born Jan 29, 1940 and passed away Jan 16, 2013 in Vulcan with all of his family near him.
He is fondly remembered by his wife, Nadine and his children David (Lorelei), Cody (Lisa), and Mardi (Murray) and 9 grandchildren, Erica, Kyle, Julia, Keean, Devon, Colin, Tracey, William and Annalise, his “rental son” Claus (Carrie) Sandhack and his faithful four legged friend Patch. He is also survived by his siblings Adolph (Dorothy), Clem, Sylvia, and Reno (Lydia) and in laws Charlotte Bexte, Edna Bexte , Monica Huculak, Linda Barnes and Gerald Armey and all his numerous well loved nieces and nephews . He also is survived by many relatives in Germany.
He was predeceased by his son Fred, his parents, Anna and Bernhard, daughter-in-law Dawn, and an infant sister at birth, and brothers Heinz-Joseph, Fred, Beny, Hugo, and in-laws Benny Vogt, Tina Bexte, Brenda Armey, and Marg Bexte.
Service will be held on Tuesday January 22, 2013 at 1:30 pm in the Arrowwood Community Hall.
Private Family Interment Arrowwood Cemetery.

DYCK
EDWARD PETER DYCK passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January 16th, 2013 at the age of 74 years.
Dad was born on January 10, 1939 in Lethbridge. He grew up on the family farm in Grassy Lake, Alberta. He loved to farm, but loved to truck even more. For over forty years he was the ultimate professional trucker. He loved to laugh and visit and was everyone’s friend.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine and children and grandchildren, including Randy (Donna) Dyck & children, Danny (Julienne) Dyck & children, Carrie (Roy) Johnson & children, Tracy (Rob) Kerner & children, Daryl Dyck and fiance Terri Davis. He is also survived by his sisters, Lorretta Romaniuk & children, Dianna (Duncan) Fisk & children, Leona (Werner) Gronemeyer & children, May Urban, Darlene Poch, Fay Pelletier & children and Dean (Sue) Poch. He was predeceased by his parents, Henry & Kay Dyck.
It was Ed’s wish that no formal funeral service be held. Cremation.

MARY SAWADA passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Health Centre on Friday, January 18, 2013 at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Garry Sawada.

ZILKE
Mary (McLean) Zilke, beloved wife of the late Ed Zilke of Vulcan, passed away at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at the age of 81 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her three sons Brian (Donna), his children Brianna (Matt), Samantha (Jason) and Curtis Zilke of Coaldale, Kevin (Terri) Zilke and Murray Zilke with his children Jessica and Jonathan all of Lethbridge, and her daughter Valerie (Neil) Ogden and their children Nathan and Ian of Medicine Hat, and Great Grandma to Zoey Gomany, one sister Rose (Wayne) Schellhorn of Lethbridge, brother-in-law Bill Kiczula of Lethbridge and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Ed, daughter-in-law Gina Zilke, parents Donald & Elsie MacLean, sisters Margaret Kiczula and Dorothy (Wally) Krall and two grandsons Matthew Edward Ogden and Nicholas James Zilke.
Mary was born August 6, 1931 in Macklin, SK and was raised on a farm outside Primate, SK. She met Ed Zilke in 1956 and they were married in 1960 and settled in Vulcan where they raised their family.
Mary worked at the Vulcan Hospital and the Bank of Commerce before starting her family. Mary enjoyed gardening, baking, camping and fishing. One of her greatest joys was having her grandchildren over for sleep-overs and baking for them.
Funeral Mass Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 10am at the St. Basil’s Catholic Church (604 - 13 St. North Lethbridge) with Father Kevin Tumback officiating.
Private family inurnment at a later date.
