GLOVER
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of MR. CHARLES RICHARD GLOVER. Charlie passed away peacefully in the Lethbridge Regional Hospital at the age of 85 on Wednesday, September 19th, 2012.
Charlie was born on March 1st, 1927 in Morden, Manitoba and was raised in Roland, Manitoba. He was a member of the “Associated Canadian Travellers” (ACT) working as a salesman for 50 years, first with H.J. Heinz and then DuBois Chemicals until his retirement.
Charlie loved to read, play cards, nap, listen to classical music and watch his garden grow. Charlie will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 57 years – Muriel (nee Young); his son Tom (Andrea); his daughters Jayne Ference and Barb (Francis) Konrad; his beloved grandchildren – Walker, Kylen, Katie and Elizabeth; his sisters Elva Turner of Edmonton, and Joan (Tom) Olsen of Winnipeg and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Charlie will be laid to rest in Roland. Friends may meet with his loved ones at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME on Sunday, September 23rd from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M.

WATMOUGH
LYNN WATMOUGH passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at St. Michael’s Palliative Care at the age of 65 years.
Lynn leaves to mourn her passing, her beloved husband and best friend of 32 years Fred Watmough; her 2 children Kevin Watmough and Allan Watmough (Jill Robinson); her 2 very special grandchildren Emily and Oliver Watmough; as well as her brother Roy (Bea) Crawford; sister-in-law Alice Duhamel; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. She will also be sadly missed by her very special friends.
Lynn was predeceased by her parents Roy and Sybil Crawford; her brother Larry Crawford; her father and mother-in-law Oliver and Edna Watmough; and brother-in-law Don Duhamel.
Lynn was born in Lethbridge and raised in Lang Bay (Powell River), British Columbia. Upon graduation she returned to Lethbridge and worked for Neufeld Engineering, Regional Hospital and had just recently retired from Toys’R’Us. Her happiest times were spent in her kitchen cooking and baking for her family and friends, looking after and spoiling her grandchildren, and travelling with Fred in their fifth-wheel.
A Celebration of Lynn’s Life will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street South, Lethbridge, with Valerie Martell-Kostiuk officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Lynn’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society, #402, 740 – 4 Ave South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 0N9.

WIENS
On September 17, 2012 at five p.m. Frank F. Wiens of Boyle, Alberta peacefully went to meet his Lord and Saviour, with family at his side, in the Boyle Health Care Centre.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Olive Wiens of Boyle, Alberta. He is also survived by his son, Greg (Brenda) Wiens and their children, Michelle (Rick) Wyman, their daughter Katherine Olivia; Mathew Wiens (Caitlin Holman); and Joshua (Meghan) Wiens and their daughter, Grace Elizabeth and by three daughters, Catherine, Marion and Elizabeth; foster son, Clarence; foster daughter, Tamara and her daughter, Jordyn and much loved extended family members, Ben and Lina Lacanilao and their children who always affectionately referred to Frank as Dad/Grandpa Wiens.
Born on July 10, 1930 in Balzac, Alberta, Frank was the third of eight children. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Helena Wiens; sisters, Mary, Lucille and Ellen; brother-in-law, Ralph and sister-in-law, Helen. He is survived by sisters, Katherine and Ruth; brothers, Abram and Neil and numerous nieces and nephews.
The outpouring of support for Frank and his family during his hospitalization, in thoughts, prayers and visits from family, extended family and friends, was overwhelming and deeply appreciated.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the charity of your choice in memory of Frank. He leaves with the following on his lips and in his heart:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
