1954 - 2012
Larry Lyle Brann passed away in Taber on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the age
of 57 years after a courageous battle with cancer.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Peace Lutheran Church, 4619 - 56
Avenue, Taber on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. with Pastor Carl
Bogda officiating. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden. For

DIDYCHUK
ETHEL MARGARET (RADCLIFF) DIDYCHUK passed away in Lethbridge on Monday, July
16, 2012 at the age of 100 years. Ethel was born in Huntsville, Ontario, on
September 28, 1911 to Isaac and Margaret Radcliff. In 1912, she came with
her parents, sister Laura and brother Jack to a homestead northwest of
Rorketon, Manitoba. She attended Cecil school, then stayed to help on the
family farm. She was a dressmaker and worked part-time in the Rorketon Post
Office.
On October 16, 1937 Ethel married William (Bill) Didychuk and they farmed in
the Freedale district. Here they raised one daughter, Margaret. In 1956 they
moved to Lynn Lake, Manitoba where Ethel worked first as a clerk for Central
Meat, then as a seamstress for Hudson Bay and Eastern Clothing.
Bill worked for Sherritt Gordon Mines but due to his ill health, they
retired in 1975 and moved back to the Rorketon district, spending the
summers at their cabin at Manipogo Beach and the winters in Dauphin. In 1983
they moved permanently into Dauphin making their home at Kinsmen Villa.
Ethel moved to Lethbridge's Garden View Lodge in 2001.
Ethel was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1988, daughter Margaret in
2007, her father in 1954, mother in 1977, sister Laura in 1997, brother Jack
in 1987, sister Grace in 2004, sister Mary in 2010, and her parents-in-law
Nick and Irene Didychuk. Surviving are her grandchildren Karen Collin, Dean
(Lori) Johnson, and Kelly (Jennifer) Johnson; great grandson Michael Collin;
and son-in-law Fred Johnson.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 -
Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 5 P.M.
Refreshments will follow.

DIEBEL, FLORENCE (nee Zyla)
1927 - 2012
FLORENCE DIEBEL, of High River, passed away at the Foothills Country
Hospice, Okotoks on Wednesday, July 18th, 2012 at the age of 85 years.
Florence is survived by her daughter Diane Diebel, Millarville, her sons
Clarence (Diane) Diebel and grandson Brendan Diebel, High River and Harvey
Diebel, Edmonton. She is also survived by her brother Dominque (Rosella)
Zyla, Red Deer. She was predeceased by her husband Michael Diebel on
November 8th, 2004, her brother Alexander Zyla, her parents John and Bertha
Zyla, aunts, uncles, cousins and a number of in-laws.
Florence Zyla was born in Weyburn, Sask. And grew up on the family farm at
Tyvan, Sask. After her high school graduation she attended teacher's college
in Moose Jaw and taught for six years in Saskatchewan. After her marriage to
Michael Diebel, and one year teaching in the Regina Separate School, she and
her husband and family moved to Lethbridge where she continued to teach in
the Lethbridge Separate School system for eleven years. They then moved to
Calgary where she taught in the Calgary Separate School system until
retirement in 1986. Following her retirement she and Michael moved to High
River where she did volunteer work with the handicapped riding. After the
riding group was moved to Okotoks and Michael had suffered a severe heart
attack, she found it necessary to quit her volunteer work to devote her time
as a care giver at home.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 206
- 9th Ave. S.W., High River on Monday, July 23rd at 11:00 a.m. Interment
will follow at Highwood Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be
made to the Foothills Country Hospice Society, P.O. Box 274, Okotoks, T1S

November 6, 1942 - July 7, 2012
Douglass McNicol of Calgary Alberta passed away on Saturday, July 7th 2012
at the age of 69.
Doug was predeceased by his parents Ella Rae and Donald McNicol.
Doug will be lovingly remembered by his wife Kathy (Wilson) McNicol of
Calgary, Alberta and his children David McNicol of Vancouver, BC. Liane
McNicol of Surrey, BC. Darryl (Meribeth) McNicol of Calgary Alberta, Donald

It is with deep sadness to announce that Rosemary Katherine Kerner, beloved
wife of Kelly Kerner (nee Klemen), passed away peacefully with her family
and friends by her side in Coaldale on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at the age of
47 years after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer.

sisters-in-law Randy (Jane) Kerner, Ron (Teresa) Kerner, Dale Coombs, Casey
(Carrie) Kerner, Rob (Tracy) Kerner, Hollie (Jeff) Walker, Lynnece (Jeff)
Torgunrud, Wade (Cathy) Kerner, Jayleen (Randy) LaRose, Coralee (Duane) Leth
and by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Steve and Rose Klemen; in-laws Joe and
Orlean Kerner; two brothers Victor Klemen, Frank Klemen and sisters-in-law
Bev Klemen and Shelly Coombs (nee Kerner).
Rose was a devoted wife and mother and her family meant everything to her.
She loved having everyone over for dinner so she could cook and show off her
poker shark skills! Rose loved to travel, ride her motorbike, play softball
and spend time with her nearest and dearest friends and family. She lived
life to the fullest!
Rose has given us all new meaning to perseverance and inspiration.

Lethbridge at the age of 82.

(David) Stroeve, Cassidy Klima, Chase Atkinson, Brooke Atkinson, Michelle

Steven Malic Plomp; Papa Jack will also be greatly missed by his 8

It is with profound sadness that Ron's family announce his sudden passing.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife Barbara; daughter Dana Magree (Tom); son
Damon (Tricia) and his pride and joy - two grandsons Tristan and Colton
Poole. Ron also leaves countless number of friends who enjoyed his company
and helping hands. Ron was predeceased by his father (Joe) and mother
(Mattie).
Born in Dauphin, Manitoba, Ron spent most of his adult life in the Camrose
area. Ron loved the country life - a pastime that combined his love of
horses with the wonderful friendships made along the road. In 2007, Ron and
Barb moved their primary residence to the Monarch area - experiencing the
ranching life in the scenic Oldman river area.
A private family service will be held. Friends are invited to attend a
Celebration of Ron's Life at their home on Saturday, July 21st starting at 5
pm.

RICHARD ALLEN STANGE of Claresholm, beloved husband of Lorraine Stange,
passed away in Claresholm on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the age of 68 years.
He is the loving father of: Shelley (Kevin) Needham – Kayla and Jessie;
Marty (Juanita) Stange – Amy and Cody; Jenny (Thornton) Root – Philip, AJ,
Chet, Levi, Jeff, Chris, and Steven; Lorna (Rob) King – Jordan and Dylan. He
is survived by his siblings: Arnold (Shirley), Herbert, Donna (George)
Leggett; brother-in-law Sheldon (Miriam) Selk; sister-in-law Loretta Oler;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
Allen is predeceased by his parents, John and Cora.
He was born and raised in Claresholm, and saw all of North America through a
windshield. He loved camping and spending time with his grandchildren, and
spent many hours in his wood shop. Allen made many miles, and made many
friends. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints.
Friends may meet the family on Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, CLARESHOLM CHAPEL, or
prior to the funeral service at the church on Monday from 10:00 to 10:45
a.m.
The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at
the LDS Claresholm Chapel, with Bishop Royce Woodruff officiating. Interment
to follow in the Stirling Cemetery.

WILK
E. GLEN WILK of Lethbridge, AB passed away after a lengthy illness on
Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the age of 61 years.
He is survived by his brother Eldon of Ontario, daughters Jaime (Brian) and
