BAKER
WAYNE STEVENS BAKER, beloved husband and best friend of Evelyn, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly while on vacation in Salt Lake City, UT on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the age of 75 years.
Wayne was born June 16, 1937 at Galt Hospital – the youngest son of Philip and Lottie Matilda Baker. He was raised on the family farm near Welling and moved to Lethbridge at the age of 11. For 34 years, he worked as a salesman with Baker Appliances and loved his association with the customers he served.
Besides his wife Evelyn, Wayne is survived by his son Don (children Jessica (Jordan) and James), daughter Karla (Rob) Smith (children Lauryn, Cameron and Jack), son Ryan (Christie) Holt (children Mikailla, Benjamin and Sadie), son Eric (Kennedy) Holt (children Mara, Maxwell, Seia and Samuel) and daughter Tanis (Jared) Taylor (children Aliya, Mya and Zoey). He is also survived by his sister Hazel Kiely and his sisters-in-law Mary, Melba, Edna, Moselle, Bernice and Pat Baker.
Wayne was predeceased by his parents, grandchildren Philip and Matthew Baker, son Mike Baker, sisters LaPreal McNeely and Myrtle Jensen, and his brothers Roscoe, Bryan, Ken, Claude, Don and Bill.
Wayne was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Above all, he loved giving service to his family and cherished his grandchildren. He will be sorely missed.
Friends may meet the family on Monday evening, July 16, 2012 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge, or prior to the funeral service at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.
The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, LETHBRIDGE STAKE CENTRE, 2410-28 Street South, Lethbridge, with Bishop Aaron Bridge officiating.
Interment in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond.

MR. KEN JANG, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Gim How Jang, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, June 22, 2012 at the age of 82 years.
Ken is survived by his five children Sally, Norman, Marilyn (Craig), Aileen (Barry), and Steven (Leesa); six grandchildren Lindsay, Stacey, Brianne, Lauren, Ryan and Megan; and two great-grandchildren Lili and Ronin.
Ken was a well respected member of the Chinese Community since arriving in Canada in 1951. He had numerous successful business ventures in the grocery, restaurant, and real estate sectors but they pale in comparison to his accomplishments as a loving and caring father. His generous and giving nature to family and friends will always be remembered and treasured by all who knew him. He will live in our hearts forever. Ken’s generosity has contributed to the success of many friends and family and they will be forever grateful.

May 6, 1931-July 9, 2012
Abe passed away peacefully on Monday, July 9, 2012 in the company of family and surrounded by love and prayers.
He was born on May 6, 1931 in Osterwick, Ukraine and moved to Coaldale, Alberta in 1948 where he met his true love, Erna. Abe married Erna (nee Klassen) on June 20, 1954 and bought her a dozen roses every year for their anniversary – 58 in all. Abe is survived by his wife Erna and their five daughters: Kathy (Stan), Anne (Harvey), Anita (Keith), Lori (Ken), and Irma (Stephen), as well as seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, brothers Bill (Dorothy), Jake (Herta), Peter, in-laws Edward (Mary) Wiebe and Jane Janzen; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Abram and Anna Janzen, his sister Elizabeth Wiebe, and brother Victor Janzen.

SAGA
SID HIDEO SAGA, beloved husband of the late Setsuko of Milk River, passed away at Milk River Continuing Care on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the age of 87 years.
He is the loving father of five children: Stewart (Angela), and their son Greg; JoAnne (Bruce) and their son Travis (Jenn); Barb, Alice (Richard), and Raymond (Tamara) and their daughter Midori. He is also survived by two sisters: Marge Hikida, and Sue Kado.
Sid was born in Port Alice, BC. His favourite activities included: fishing, gardening, golfing, and playing pool and crib. He was a Blue Jays baseball fan.
The family would like to thank the Milk River Continuing Care staff, neighbors, and friends for their love and kindness shown.
Cremation has taken place.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at the Magrath Cemetery.
