CLARKE
LOIS BEVERLEY CLARKE: Lois fought the brave battle of Cancer. She succumbed in her sleep on Wednesday, January 16th, 2013 at the St. Michael's Health Centre at the age of 78 years.
Lois is survived by her husband Ron, her three boys and one daughter; Ron Jr. (Nancy) Clarke of Lethbridge, Allen (Karen) Clarke of Lethbridge, Jim (Deb) Clarke of Calgary, and Lisa (Darren) Lutz of Lethbridge.
She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Lois and Ron were married on October 6, 1951.
Her quiet courage, strength of spirit, creativity and sense of humor will be carried on by those who knew and loved her. She was a dear beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Lois was a very social person, continuing to work even after retirement, Lois enjoyed all her years working at Wyatt Electric and loved her time spent at the cabin at Duck Lake with family and friends.
The Clarke family would like to thank all of Lois's care givers throughout her illness.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 - Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 1:00 P.M., with Reverend Trevor Potter officiating.

DYCK
EDWARD PETER DYCK passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January 16th, 2013 at the age of 74 years.
Dad was born on January 10, 1939 in Lethbridge. He grew up on the family farm in Grassy Lake, Alberta. He loved to farm, but loved to truck even more. For over forty years he was the ultimate professional trucker. He loved to laugh and visit and was everyone’s friend.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine and children and grandchildren, including Randy (Donna) Dyck & children, Danny (Julienne) Dyck & children, Carrie (Roy) Johnson & children, Tracy (Rob) Kerner & children, Daryl Dyck and fiance Terri Davis. He is also survived by his sisters, Lorretta Romaniuk & children, Dianna (Duncan) Fisk & children, Leona (Werner) Gronemeyer & children, May Urban, Darlene Poch, Fay Pelletier & children and Dean (Sue) Poch. He was predeceased by his parents, Henry & Kay Dyck.
It was Ed’s wish that no formal funeral service be held. Cremation.

George Robert Span, beloved father of Amy Span of Lethbridge, Alberta tragically passed away in his Lethbridge home, on January 14, 2013 at the age of 58 years.
Besides his loving daughter he is survived by father Robert Span of Coalhurst , Netty (Fred) Tolsma of St. Albert, Sadie (Al) Stiksma of St. Albert, Arlene (Al) Miedema of Kelowna, Fran Ovis of St Albert, Anita (Doug) Tolsma of St. Albert, Rick (Marsha) Span of Lacombe, Tim (Lorrie) Span of Stirling. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother Francina Span, sister Sylvia Span, nieces Nicole Tolsma and Regina Span, and brother-in-law George Tolsma. All who knew George knew he sought people with kindred spirit. From his long hair, his once-in-awhile cowboy hat, and his not so funny jokes... This is the George we all know and love, whom we will continue to cherish forever.
A Visitation will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME - 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, where relatives and family are invited to meet with the family from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. on Sunday, January 20, 2013.
