BERNARD C. (BEN) VAN HEES
December 18, 1926 – July 18, 2011
Beloved father, grandfather, sibling and friend, BEN VAN HEES passed away suddenly in his Lethbridge, AB home on July 18, 2011 at the age of 84.
Ben is survived by his son David Van Hees (Daryl), her son Jeremy (Alisha) and their son “great grandson” Paxton, of Lethbridge, AB; his daughter Janet Robinson (Marvin) and granddaughter Cheryl (Peter) of Yellowknife, NT; as well as his brothers Fred, John and Derk; sisters Francis and Loucille. Ben is predeceased by wife Kathleen (2008), father Bernard (1961), mother Willa (1995), sisters Wilhelmina (1996) and Josanne (2008), and grandson Gary (2004).
As a Civil Engineer since 1949, Ben completed numerous projects for firms and clients throughout many Canadian provinces and in both territories, as well as in Jamaica, Barbados, Alaska, Greenland, Bolivia and Mexico. Ben was a member of APEGGA (received special award in 1998), CSCE and CWWA. He was the founding president of NAPEGG and of the Saskatchewan branch of the Resources Development Association and the director for Saskatchewan of the Canadian Water Resources Association.
As a philanthropist and active community member, Ben was past-president of the Yellowknife Rotary Club, elected director of both the Regina Chamber of Commerce and Yellowknife Stanton Hospital Board and served in various membership and directorial positions for Kiwanis Clubs in Lethbridge, Red Deer, Edmonton, Regina and Jamaica.
As per his wish, an immediate family gathering was held on Thursday, July 21, 2011 in Lethbridge, AB, to remember Ben Van Hees.

MARJORIE ELYN BERRY, beloved wife of Morgan Berry, passed away in Cardston on Friday, July 22, 2011 at the age of 81 years.
Friends may meet the family at Legacy Funeral Home ONLY on Tuesday, July 26th from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, South Hill Chapel on Wednesday, July 27th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Clay Leavitt officiating.

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of LAURA JEAN GILCHRIST on May 15th, 2011, and NEIL CAMORN GILCHRIST on July 22nd, 2011, both at the age of 78 years. Both were active in Coaldale and Lethbridge communities.
Neil and Laura Jean are survived by their daughter Charlene and son Alan.

HAIRY BULL

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of ANGEL MORNING STAR HAIRY BULL, who was born on July 20th, 2011 and passed away on July 20th, 2011.
Angel is survived by her loving parents Keith Hairy Bull and Sharla Calf Robe. Siblings Gabriel, Brandon, Andre’, Danielle, Caelan Hairy Bull and Micah Pinacie. Paternal grandparents Keith Rides At The Door (The late Esther Rides At The Door) and (The late Sharon Rides At The Door). Maternal grandparents Pauline Curly Rider (The late Winston Bird) and Noel Maguire. Angel is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

KONYNENBELT
DANIEL WAYNE, beloved husband of Melody and loving Daddy of Blake, Brianna and Bethany, went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 20, 2011 at St. Michael’s Health Care Centre at the age of 36 years.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the NOBLEFORD MONARCH CEMETERY, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm at the NOBLEFORD CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 522 Highway Avenue, Nobleford, Alberta, with Pastor Nigel Wheeler of Lakeview Bible Church, officiating.
He will be greatly missed, although we celebrate in the knowledge that he is safe in the Father’s arms.
And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To Him be the power forever and ever. Amen (I Peter 5:10-11)

O’NEILL, ANNE ELIZABETH

November 12, 1918 – June 29, 2011
Our beloved mother passed away peacefully in Victoria, BC, where she had moved to be near family and because of her declining health in 2005.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405-12 Avenue South, Lethbridge, on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.  A Reception will follow at the church hall, catered by the C.W.L. (of which Anne was a long time member). 
Interment will take place in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery next to her husband and son with Reverend John Kohler officiating.

PUFFER, ETHEL CAROLINE
Ethel was born to George Willard Emmons & Jessie Lillian Emmons on June 03, 1932 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.  Predeceased by her loving husband Roy of 55 years, parents, sisters Hazel, Clarice, Hilda, Elsie, Myrtle and brother Art. Survived by sisters Evelyn & Margaret, brothers Ed, Ron & Wayne, daughters Wendy (Calvin) Lindgren, Kathleen Puffer, Colleen Bamford, Deborah (Jeff) Puffer, son Larry Eason, seven grandchildren Dale (Amy), Terry (Adrienne), Tanice (Daryl), Alexis (Zoltan), Jacque (Kenny), Casandra (Colin) and Laura, and seventeen great grandchildren, RaeAnne, Brody, Jace, Madison, Rylan, Jordyn, Tyson, Sarah, Zamora, Tailu, Karissa, Paige, Kaycie, Lemmy, Page, Drue, & Mya.
Ethel dedicated her life to caring for her husband and her children. She lived in Lacombe, Edmonton, Fort St. John, Whitehorse, and Lethbridge. She loved to travel and did have some opportunity to do so during her lifetime. Ethel will be remembered and cherished by her loving family and friends. To honour Ethel's life a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated.

STANKO
HELEN STANKO, beloved wife of the late John Stanko, passed away in Lethbridge on Friday, July 22, 2011 at the age of 84 years.
Helen is survived by her son, Lawrence (Phyllis) Stanko; two granddaughters, Heidi (Aaron) Bartoo and Pearl (Fabian) Sauceda; five great grandchildren, Mikaela and Braeden Bartoo, Boston, Dash and Fabian Jr. Sauceda; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Helen was born August 2, 1926 in Hardieville and married John July 4, 1948. She lived in and enjoyed Lethbridge her whole life.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday July 28, 2011 at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703 13 STREET NORTH, Lethbridge. Friends may meet the family prior to the service from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge.
