BOSCH
EDITH BOSCH, passed away at the Good Samaritans West Highlands, in Lethbridge, AB, on Friday, January 11th, 2013 at the age of 98 years.
Edith was born June 29, 1914 in Masinasin, Alberta.
She spent her early life living in Milk River, working on the farm, cooking for harvest crews, cleaning houses, and caring for everyone else. She married Lynn Pease and following a farming career they moved to Lethbridge. They spent many years travelling and helping everyone they could. He predeceased her in 1969. Edith married Joe Bosch in 1974. They lived in Lethbridge and spent time fishing, helping with their farming interests and were known to enjoy the odd trip to Las Vegas. Joe passed away in 2012. Edith is predeceased by her only brother Leonard (Grace) Ferguson in 1984.
Edith is survived by Leonard and Grace's children, Linda (Daryl) Loreth, Debby (Dan) Clark, Ken (Corinne) Ferguson and numerous nieces and nephews.
At Edith's request a private family burial will be held at a later date.

BRAITHWAITE, SYLVIA ELAINE
October 23, 1933 –
January 10, 2013
SYLVIA BRAITHWAITE (nee Christensen), beloved wife of Keith, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.
Sylvia was born on October 23, 1933 in Raymond Alberta to Bill and Lucy Christensen. She grew up and attended school in Raymond Alberta. Sylvia married her eternal companion Keith in the Cardston Temple in 1952 and soon after started a family. They resided in Blairmore for most of the next 55 years. Following her husband’s death in 2007, Sylvia moved to Okotoks and then to Calgary.
A faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Sylvia happily served in many church callings. Her favourite was that of visiting teacher. Sylvia’s deep and abiding faith was a testament to all who knew her. Loving, compassionate and strong, Sylvia was devoted to her family. Surely, she was the best mother and grandmother we could have possibly asked for.
Sylvia was predeceased by her husband Keith; her parents Willis and Lucy Christensen, her sister Gayla Jacobs, and her baby brother Willis. She is survived by her children: Alan; Diana (Hal) Currie of Okotoks; Randy (Betty) of Calgary; Terry (Ronda) of Wenatchee, Washington; and Renee (Peter) Clark of Calgary. As well, Sylvia leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, her sister Donna (Louis) Schumers an her brother-in-law Gordon Jacobs.
The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the nurses, doctors, staff and volunteers at the Foothills Country Hospice Society, where Sylvia spent her last days.
Funeral Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Welling, Alberta, on January 16 at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop Randy Wilde officiating. Friends may meet the family from 12:30 to 12:50 p.m. prior to the service.
Interment will follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery in Raymond.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Foothills Country Hospice at PO Box 274, Okotoks, AB. T1S 1A5

FOSTER
MRS. ALICE FOSTER of Picture Butte, beloved wife of the late Mr. Arthur "Art" Foster passed away at Piyami Lodge on Wednesday January 9, 2013 at the age of 98 years.
Alice was born in Winnifred, Alberta to John and Gunnhild Krokum on December 25, 1914. She married Arthur Foster of Picture Butte on October 12, 1937 and together they raised 6 children.
Alice is survived by her children Gary, Brian, Calvin (Patricia) and James (Sandra); 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters Gladys Hodgson, Edna Penrose and Ruth Haddow as well as numerous nieces’ nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her parents; daughter Carol and son Douglas; siblings Anna, Melvin, Mabel, Jesse, Hilda, Arne and Doris; daughter in law Helen; as well as a great-grandson.
Alice spent her life being the "connecting link" for the family as she knew all the details and could tell you about everyone from the youngest to the oldest.
A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 pm in Archmount Cemetery followed by a Memorial Service at 1:30 pm on Wednesday January 16, 2012 at TRINTY UNITED CHURCH, 528 Maple Crescent, Picture Butte, AB with Reverend Glenda Wert, officiating.
