ELEANOR DOROTHY WORBOYS
August 10, 1909 – November 24, 2012
It is with sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Worboys at the Chinook Regional Hospital on November 24, 2012 at the age of 103.
Eleanor was born in the now ghost town of Bankhead, Alberta in Banff National Park, on August 10, 1909. Her early years were spent in Bankhead; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Coleman, Alberta. As a young woman she moved to Lethbridge where she met and married Stan Worboys on July 2, 1935. The wedding took place in Coleman, Alberta
Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Stan on October 13, 1993; by her parents Michael and Suzanna Kovac, her sister Irene Kovach (nee Kovac), and her brother John Milan "Mickey" Kovac.
She is survived by her son, Ken (Barb) of Lethbridge, and grand-daughters Terri Worboys of Lethbridge and Ronni Worboys of Claremont, California; Also sister-in-law Freeda Kovac of Lethbridge.
She was independent and feisty to the very end; we’ll miss that.
Cremation. A private inurnment will take place at a later date.

Emerson Wright
1927 - 2012
Emerson Charles Wright, beloved husband of the late Elsie Wright, passed away in Taber on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the age of 85 years.
Emerson is survived by his loving daughter Shirley (Barry) Doble of Brooks and their children Jason Wright and Chad (Michelle) Doble; great grandchildren Caleb and Damian; sister-in-law Loreen Wright of Medicine Hat; his dear friends Doug Leong, Rhonda and Jim Culver as well as many nieces and nephews.
Emerson was born in Medicine Hat on September 27, 1927, one of seven children born to Frank and Hannah Wright. He started his teaching career in various rural communities. Emerson settled in Vauxhall and taught at the Vauxhall High School, where he was the vice principal for twenty nine years. After teaching he went on to manage the Vauxhall Legion for ten years until his retirement in 1994.
Emerson looked forward to the challenge of doing the crossword puzzle in the morning paper. He also loved to tell a good joke or two.

The family of Emerson would like to thank everyone at the Taber Health Centre for the outstanding care he received during his fifty nine days there. Also a special thank you to Dr. Jillian Demontigny, Dr. Rob Wedel and the nursing staff for making his last days very enjoyable.

1918 - 2012
Glen Grant, beloved husband of Kathy Grant and also the late Fay Grant, passed away in Taber on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the age of 93 years.

GRAVELAND
Pearl Graveland of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Henry Graveland, passed away peacefully on Thursday November 29, 2012 in the Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 89.
Pearl was born on Friday, July 13, 1923 in Whitewood, Sask. She served in the R.C.A.F where she met Henry. They married in 1946 and moved to farm at Del Bonita. Later they relocated to Granum, farming there until 1978 when they retired to Lethbridge. They enjoyed a happy and active retirement, square dancing, golfing, fishing and travelling. After Henry died in 2001 Pearl enjoyed companionship and travel with Bob Webb of Vulcan.
Pearl will be fondly remembered by her children Rick (Rose), Barb Crawford, Paul (Bonnie Hofer), Cliff (Jackie) and Karen (Les) Wonnenberg; grandchildren Tracy (Scott Miller) Bosch, Brent (Rachel Ross) Graveland, Stu (Jenn) Crawford, Kevin (Jill) Graveland, Scott (Kristy) Graveland, Amy (Brent) Granger, Matt & Clay Hofer, Shane & Kristen Wonnenberg; and many wondrous great- grandchildren. She is survived by a sister, Irene Greer, a brother Glen (Greta) Hall, sisters-in-law, Pat Schmaltz and Audrey Graveland; and several nieces and nephews and their families. Pearl is predeceased by her parents, William and Helen Hall; and brother Alex.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday December 4, 2012 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, with Reverend Bob Wallace officiating. A Private Graveside Service will be held in Cardston Cemetery

Lynda Mae Fournier, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away in Taber surrounded by her family on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the age of 62 years.

It didn¹t matter if you were in need of some advice, a friendly smile, a shoulder to cry on, just a really good laugh or a babysitter, she was always there. Loving, kind, patient, big hearted Lynda will be loved and in our hearts forever.

SMALL EYES
SAMUEL SMALL EYES III passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the age of 40 years, surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his wife Wanda; children Tryson, Christina, Shelby, Kenzie, Tayshaun, Navaya, Chezney, Chanting, newborn boy Shavon Cadillac George; one very special grandchild Ava; loving mother Debi; brothers Darren (Audrey), Kenny (Bonita), Duane (Susie); sisters Rosie (Farrell) and Sherri (Terry); special nieces and nephews that he loved with all his heart; loving grandmother Danita Nanamkin.
George (Tsa Tsii) was born on December 30, 1971 to George Jr. and Debra (Nanamkin) Small Eyes. He loved camping, hunting and fishing. George loved spending time with his wife, children, family and friends. He enjoyed cruising, going for walks and taking his kids to the park. George was a friend to many people, old and young. He would always make you laugh and he a lways made his presence known where ever he went.
George was also survived by numerous families: Small Eyes’, Shouting’s, Bull Shields’, Russell’s, Wolf Plume’s, Samson’s, Nanamkin’s, Whitaker’s, Ray’s, Eagle Child’s, Calf Robe’s, Crazy Boy’s, and Bird’s.
George was predeceased by his Dad, George Jr. Small Eyes; paternal grandparents George and Rosie Small Eyes; maternal grandfather Joseph Nanamkin; relatives too numerous to mention.
A Wake Service will be held at the Moses Lake Gym, Blood Reserve on Monday, December 3, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. and continue all night. The Funeral Service will be held at the Moses Lake Gym, Blood Reserve on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Michael Tipper officiating. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Blood Reserve.
