BRADY
MRS. EVELYN INGER BRADY, beloved wife to the late Harley Brady, passed away peacefully at the St. Michael’s Care Centre on June 11, 2012 at the age of 85.
Evelyn is survived by her son Dennis (Ria), daughters Sandra (Bill), Christine (Bob); grandchildren Tanya (Oliver), Trevor (Danielle); great-grandchildren Royden, and Owen Brady; sisters Hazel (Albert) Markus, Alveda (Karl) Markus; sisters-in-law Pat Peterson, Evelyn Peterson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Chris and Bertha Peterson, brothers Stan and Marvin and sister Doreen Hirt.
Evelyn and Harley farmed for many years in the Nobleford, Keho Lake area where they made their livelihood. The door was always open at the Brady’s and many a good friend and neighbor was welcome at their home. She was a great hostess, cook, gardener, and loved her flowers. Her role of being an awesome Grandma and Great-Grandma was also her favorite.
Evelyn was always active in her community and was a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Nobleford, then Lethbridge. She and Harley moved from the farm in 1997 to reside and enjoy retirement in Lethbridge.
Evelyn truly was a fun and dedicated individual. She loved her monthly poker games with the girls and the trips with family for a good supper and a night at the Casino. Family for her meant everything. She loved us all and we truly knew it.
Illness at the first of the year moved her into the caring hands of the St. Michael’s Care centre where she resided until her passing. Her care there was superb!
Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
A Private Family interment at the Mountain View Cemetery will be held.

CHOLLACK
BRIAN DAVID CHOLLACK, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Jane Nygaard, passed away peacefully at Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the age of 64 years.
Brian was born in Vulcan, AB on June 7, 1947 to Joe and Betty Chollack. He was the youngest of their three children. He spent the first four years in Lomond and in1951 the family moved to Lethbridge where Brian attended Westminster, Wilson Junior High and Churchill High Schools. Early in his adult years he found his lifelong passion – Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Riding became Brian’s greatest love.
He tried his hand at various jobs and eventually became head custodian at Gilbert Paterson Middle School where he was employed until his tragic bike accident in November 2005. His family has always believed that had it not been for Dr. Ali Zentner and his true love and soul mate – his wife Jane – he would not have survived this difficult time in his life. Although his lungs were severely injured in the accident, Brian remained the same kind hearted, jovial, stubborn, warm and friendly person he always was.
Besides his loving wife Jane, Brian is survived by Jane’s sons Josh and Kyle; his sister Jo (Bob) Snowden; his brother Richard (Doreen); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Brian was predeceased by his parents Joe and Betty Chollack.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Brian’s Life from 1:00 to 4:00pm on Friday, June 15, 2012 at THE ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION BRANCH #4, 324 Mayor Magrath Dr. South, Lethbridge.
