It is with great sorrow that we announce that William Carlyle Elliot Heninger, 65, of Stirling, AB, passed away December 20, 2011, at St. Michael's palliative care in Lethbridge, AB, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife and soul mate Karen Gay Heninger; Sisters: Margaret Thompson, Doris Klein, Edith Rigeaux, Kathryn Edmunds, Ruby Hollsteen. Brothers: Stephen Heninger, David Heninger, 14 Children and numerous grand- children and great grandchildren, also a dog (Cleo) and cat (Tramper).
He was predeceased by his parents Edith Basilia Elliot Heninger and Thomas Carlyle Heninger and brother Freddie Heninger.
William was born August 4, 1946 in Cardston, AB. and grew up in Aetna. He worked for 29 years at Big Horn Transport and also served in the air force.
Funeral Services to be held at West Stake Centre, Cardston, AB. at 2pm on December 28, 2011. Friends may meet the family from 1:00 - 1:45 pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Michaels Palliative Care @ 1400-9th Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB.
HRANAC
RICHARD “RICK” GEORGE HRANAC, August 15, 1957 - December 20, 2011, passed away suddenly of a heart attack on the family farm at the age of 54 years.
He was the beloved son of Mary and the late Fred Hranac. He is also survived by his brother, Garry (Rita), sisters, Bev (Darin) and Christine Ehnes, as well as nieces & nephews, aunts and cousins. Besides his father, Rick was predeceased by his brother-in-law Brian Ehnes, as well as other family members within the Hranac’s, Powell’s and Hazuda’s.
Rick was born and raised in Coaldale and spent his life farming on the family farm. He enjoyed many sports including hockey, snow skiing, water skiing, fishing and golf, and at the end of the activity, a brew with his buddies. He was a good guy with a generous spirit. He will be missed.
A private family service will be held at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
Cremation with interment to be held at a later date.

PELLETIER
BLANCHE ANGELINA (HOVAN) PELLETIER passed away suddenly in Lethbridge Tuesday, Dec. 18 at the age of 79 years.
Blanche was born Sept. 8, 1932 in Bellevue, Alberta to John Hovan, a mine worker and Mary Vohradsky, who was the daughter of a victim of the Hillcrest Mine Disaster in 1914, the worst mining disaster in Canadian history.
She spent most of her youth in the Crowsnest Pass in the shadow of her beloved Turtle Mountain and lived many years in Lethbridge where she worked at Sifton House before enjoying retirement bowling with friends and recently floor curling with the Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre.
She is survived by her sons Allan Beeber of Lethbridge, Grant Beeber of Wainwright, brothers Vincent of Pincher Creek and Stanley of Grand Cache, grandchildren Stephen and Jennifer of Edmonton and Dylan of Lethbridge. She is also survived by many close friends and “the Schmidt kids” from Cardston who loved her like they did their own mother, Verla, one of Blanche’s closet friends.
She was predeceased by the love of her life, her second husband Albert Pelletier in 1993.

Agnes Hellen Robertson (nee Dey), beloved wife of Art Robertson of Bow
Island, passed away in Medicine Hat on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at the age
of 87 years.
The Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew's United Church, 139 - 2
Avenue West, Bow Island on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with
Pastor Sheila McLeod officiating. A private family burial will follow at the

Hellen is survived by Art, her loving husband of sixty years; she leaves to
cherish her memory, two sons, Harvey (Margaret) Robertson of Lethbridge and
their children Brianne (Brian) Dand of Red Deer (children Riley, Carter and
Brodie), Mandy (Pat) Foster of Squamish, British Columbia and Stacey
Robertson (Cole Goodwin) of Red Deer; Bruce (Carla) Robertson of Bow Island
and their children Colin (Tara) Robertson (children Aubrey and Rhett
Robertson) and Kyle Robertson and his fiancé, Karmyn Repas all of Bow
Island. She is also survived by her brother Tom (Amy) Dey; sisters Margaret
Ryall, Betty Sjoquist and Cathryn (Pat) Desjarlais; sisters-in-law Margaret
Tyler, Jennifer Robertson and Anne Robertson; brother-in-law Andy (Agnes)
Robertson and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents William and Florence Dey; brother George
Dey; brothers-in-law Charles Ryall, Albin Sjoquist; Art’s parents; Art’s
brothers John, Warrender, Larry and Kenny Robertson and brother-in-law Max
Tyler.
Hellen was born February 20, 1924 in Chauvin, the eldest child of William
and Florence Dey. She grew up on the family farm and completed her schooling
in Chauvin. Hellen worked in the Chauvin area as a babysitter/housekeeper
until she went to Banff to work as a waitress at the King Edward Hotel. It
was there she met Art, whom she married on November 12, 1951. They settled
in Innisfail where their two sons, Harvey and Bruce were born. Hellen was a
tireless volunteer with the Red Cross and Women’s Institute while in
Innisfail. The family moved to Bow Island in 1967 and she continued her
volunteer work. She was a founding member of the WI and Hospital Auxilliary.
Hellen was a member of the UCW and canvassed for many other organizations.
She was a loving Grandma, who always had homemade cookies, a smile and lots
of hugs. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Hellen enjoyed watching hockey and any sports or activities her
grandchildren were involved in. Her garden was always abundant and her
flowers brought her much enjoyment. Art and Hellen enjoyed camping and
travelling to visit family in the summer and they spent many winters in the
Arizona area. She was a kind hearted, gentle soul, who saw the good in
everyone and who will missed by all who knew her.
