A Funeral Service will be held at ST. AUGUSTINE’S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 411 – 11 Street South, Lethbridge, on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.
Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Luncheon to follow.

Pierrette (Pete) Douville of Vulcan, AB passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the age of 80 years.
Pete is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law Denis and Paula, Gerald and Sandy and Gille and Vanessa. She is also survived by six grandchildren Kimberly and Brad Keeley, Garrett, Jaden Douville, Taryn Douville, Mathieu and Nicholas and two great grandchildren Mattie and Sadie Keeley. She is also survived by five sisters, a brother and numerous nieces and nephews. Pete was predeceased by her husband Ernie, daughter Daura and son Roger.

HALLUK

FRANK STANLEY HALLUK of Calgary, beloved companion of Karen Hubka, passed away suddenly on April 11, 2011 at the age of 63 years.
Frank was born in Steinheim, Germany on March 29, 1948. The family immigrated to Coaldale, Alberta in 1956. He was an avid golfer and all around sports enthusiast. He excelled at basketball and still holds scoring records at Kate Andrews High School in Coaldale. He loved travelling to the mountains and spending time with Karen and their dog Becky. Frank also loved talking about anything sports related and was very close with his nephew Juan (Kyle) Halluk. He was always happy, had an amazing sense of humor and was loved by all who knew him. He will be sadly missed.
Besides his loving Karen, Frank is survived by his sons Kent (Jennifer) Halluk and Spencer (Kendra) Halluk, his sister Margit (Stan) Rach, his brother John (Mercedes) Halluk, as well as his nieces, nephews and their families.
Frank was predeceased by his parents Johann and Rosa.
Vigil Rites (Prayers) will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, April 15, 2011 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Saturday, April 16, 2011 AT ST. BASIL’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 13th Street North, Lethbridge.

KAREN JEAN COURT
April 1963- April 2011

With sadness we announce the passing of KAREN JEAN COURT on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at her home in Lethbridge, Alberta. She was 48 years old.
Karen is survived by her father, Russell H., (Carole), and her four brothers: Barry, Rusty (Debra), Michael (Jennifer) and Mitchell (Tanya). She was predeceased by her mother Norma Jean Court.
Karen was a special spirit sent to earth to brighten many people’s lives. She enjoyed interacting with her friends from Rehab. She had a special interest in drawing, bowling and watching movies.
Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Saturday, April 16, 2011 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, KNIGHT STREET CHAPEL, Raymond.
Interment will follow immediately after the viewing, at Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond.
The family would like to express a special thanks to all the care-givers who have taken care of Karen over the years.

KILBACK
1933 – 2011

Laura passed away at Vancouver General Hospital after many months of declining health. She had been a resident of Red Deer since 1988 but moved to live with her daughter in Vancouver in May 2008. Laura was born in Mendham, Saskatchewan to Molly and Mike Surina. She spent most of her earlier years in the Hilda, and Medicine Hat area along with her 4 brothers. Many of those touched by her generosity and care knew she relished in living to help others. Where ever she lived she became an involved citizen, dedicated to church activities and volunteering. During her 17 years in Taber, she was President of the Mental Health Association for the South Division and recognized with a Citizen of the Year award. Predeceased by two brothers she leaves memories for her oldest brother, John Surina, and her youngest brother Jim Surina, from Medicine Hat and her husband Don Kilback. As well, her children, Dr Brent Kilback [ Papua New Guinea], Cheryl Kilback [Vancouver], Glen Kilback [London, Ontario] and Dr. Maureen Bakken[Red Deer], all with their own special memories. She also leaves five grandchildren, 2 great-grandsons and many other relatives. Laura and Don celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Oct. 2010. Don will continue to reside in Red Deer. A celebration of Laura’s life will be held at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 18 Selkirk Blvd., Red Deer on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with The Reverend Donald Hennig, officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in Laura’s honour may be made to S.P.C.A. 4505 – 77th Street, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 5H3 or to Christian Children's Fund of Canada 1200 Denison Street, Markham, Ontario, L3R 8G6. WOJTOWICZ

MR. JOSPEH WOJTOWICZ, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, after a brief illness on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at age of 90 years.
Joe is survived by his sister Helen (George); his brothers; Tony (Tina), Edward (Martha), John (Charlotte), Carl (Colleen); sister in law Dorothy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.
Joe was predeceased by his wife Evelyn (1999), his parents Walter and Maria as well as his brothers Stanley, Eugene, Adam and Frank.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 11:00AM at the RIVER OF LIFE COMMUNITY CHURCH, 2820 18th Avenue, North, Lethbridge, Alberta.
An inurnment will be held following the service in the ARCHMOUNT CEMETERY, West Lethbridge, Alberta.
