City road crews are continuing to deal with the ice and snow that has accumulated.
Plowing and sanding continues on Priority 1 and 2 Snow Routes, according to a Thursday-afternoon city press release. Crews will proceed to Priority 3 routes once Priority 1 and 2 routes are complete.
Motorists are cautioned that underlying roadways are very slippery in spite of the sand and salt that has been applied to the roads since the snow began. Road conditions are improving but motorists are advised to drive with caution, maintain a safe distance behind vehicles especially snow plows and sand trucks.
Crews will be working over the next 24-48 hours to plow, sand and salt all Priority Snow Routes.
