After a blast of winter, warm temperatures returned to Lethbridge this week, but locals are still good to go for outdoor skating.
According to the City of Lethbridge, ice on city lakes is still safe for public use in designated skating areas.

The average ice thickness on Chinook Lake and Nicholas Sheran Lake is 12 inches on each lake, while snow-covered spots still exist. At Henderson Lake, conditions include 13.33 inches of ice with partial snow cover.
Parks staff will continue to monitor ice thickness and updates will be made weekly, according to the city.
