Alberta’s premier will be in the city tomorrow for a pair of events.
Alison Redford is set to announce finalized details for the Chinook Regional Hospital redevelopment project at 3:30 p.m. Redford, along with Alberta health minister Fred Horne, infrastructure minister Wayne Drysdale and Dr. Vanessa Maclean, Alberta Health Service's south zone medical director, will gather in the hospital atrium for the announcement.
The premier will then attend the Southern Alberta Leader’s Dinner later in the day at Lethbridge Lodge. Redford is scheduled to give a speech at approximately 6:55 p.m., in the Grande Ballroom.
