Print PDF

Next week, Lethbridge residents will have an opportunity to take a look at the city’s Recreation and Culture Master Plan.

The city has developed the plan in an attempt to ensure residents continue to enjoy a high quality of life by planning for the future of recreation and culture programs, services and facilities, according to a press release from the city. The plan was initiated in the fall of 2012, and has involved consultation with residents and community organizations.
The city and the consulting team involved in inviting residents to a public open house to review the plan on Thursday, Feb. 7 from 7-9 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. A brief presentation will be held at 7 p.m., with information panels on the plan also being available for viewing. Residents will have the opportunity to provide comment on the plan and ask questions of the project team. The panels will remain in the City Hall foyer until Friday, Feb. 15.
Residents who are not able to attend the public open house will have access to the documents, information panels and a feedback form on Feb. 8 by visiting the city’s website, www.lethbridge.ca/Things-To-Do, or the city’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/cityoflethbridge.
For more information about the Master Plan, contact the City of Lethbridge Recreation and Culture department at 403-320-3020.
