A three-year-old boy is in critical but stable condition after he was struck by a vehicle in a westside neighbourhood last week.

Lethbridge Regional Police continue to investigate the collision which took place last Friday at approximately 12:50 p.m., when police responded to a report a child had been struck by a vehicle along the 200 block of Aberdeen Road.
Investigation determined a three-year-old boy entered the roadway unexpectedly in front of a southbound Toyota SUV. He was transported to Chinook Regional Hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries and subsequently flown to Calgary by STARS.
Speed, alcohol and road conditions were not factors in the collision, according to police press release issued Monday afternoon.
