An activation of the Amber Alert system has been made at the request of Maple Creek RCMP.

The victim is Katelyn Mosquito, 14 years old from the Maple Creek area, according to RCMP. She is an Aboriginal female, 5'3" tall, 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen on the evening of Jan. 9. She is believed to be wearing an orange hoodie with “Maple Creek Composite High” and pajama-type pants. Katelyn is approximately eight-months pregnant.
Police have said the child was taken by Jonathan Hansen also from the Maple Creek area. He is a Caucasian male, 16 years of age about 5’11” tall, 150 pounds with light brown hair and blue/gray eyes. He has body modification of both ears.
The suspect may be driving a green 1995 Ford Escort with Saskatchewan plate 637 HEE, according to police, who added Hansen may be travelling west-bound into Alberta.
