On Wednesday, police responded to an armed robbery at the 7-11 located at 541-13 St. N.  
Staff at the store advised told police a lone male entered the store and brandished a large hunting knife and demanded money.

 The male, believed to be 35-40 years old,  as described as white, approximately 5'9" with a stocky build, wearing a black hoodie with “Canada” on the front, a black touque, black pants and black shoes. The suspect had a black bandana with a white pattern covering his face. 
Staff described the knife as large hunting knife with a blade about 12-inches long and had a slight curve to it. The suspect was wearing grey and white gloves and had purple backpack. The male obtained a small amount of money and was last seen fleeing Southbound from the store. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
