A mini-van involved in a collision rests next to a destroyed power box Friday evening on a green strip in the Tudor Estates neighbourhood. Police on scene say a westbound vehicle travelling on Scenic Drive ran a red light and collided with the mini-van travelling across at 20 Street South which continued off the road and into the power box, causing a power outage in the area. Charges were laid in the incident in which police say distracted driving was a factor. No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
