			<description><![CDATA[Seriously?? Really? DUH! What a ridiculous argument. Of course it makes money! If drivers didn't need policeing then they wouldn't be necessary. Regardless how much money, or where it's spent, the reason is firstly to save lives and secondly less time at an accident scene for police, less time and money through the health system for injuries etc. Police have many issues to deal with. Why should much time be spent dealing with accidents needlessly occuring daily? Red light/radar control of speeding etc allow police to attend to other issues. Makes sense to me. People insist on breaking the law, taking risks while behind the wheel. For example, how unsuccessful has the law been regarding distracted driving? While out on errands etc. multiple drivers are observed talking/texting/eating etc with little or no regard for anyone else. It seems we need some form of enforcement or driving would be riskier than it already is. Does Ms. Pigeau have a better suggestion?]]></description>
