GRANSON
ELFRIEDA GRANSON, beloved wife of Fred Granson of Coaldale passed away peacefully at Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, June 15, 2009 at the age of 76 years.
A visitation for family and friends will take place between 7 – 8 p.m., Friday, June 19 at CHRISTENSEN SALMON FUNERAL HOME, 327 – 10 St. S., Lethbridge.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2009 at CHRIST TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 416 – 12 St. South, Lethbridge with Pastor Jason Anderson officiating. Interment will take place at the Coaldale Cemetery.

GRAY
JOHN (Jack) W. GRAY, beloved husband of Doris of Taber, passed away at the Taber Hospital on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at the age of 90 years.
He is the loving father of: Gary (Lucille) of Elliot Lake, ON, Dennis (Jeanie) of Winnipeg, and Kathryn (Dan) Cook of Sechelt, BC. He leaves behind eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, and one sister Jean Jaycox of Victoria, BC.
He was predeceased by his parents Stowe (Ted) and Ovanda Gray of Raymond, and his wife Doris.
Our Dad spent his whole life working in the Sugar Industry at Picture Butte, Winnipeg, and Taber. Dad was very active in the church and filled many duties and responsibilities. At Dad’s retirement he and Mom served a church mission in Florida. Dad took great pride in his garden and shared the fruits of his labor with many people. He also looked forward to trading tomatoes for potatoes. Dad also enjoyed fishing and hunting pheasants with his dog ‘Spot’. For many years Mom and Dad made their yearly trip to visit family in Manitoba, Ontario, and BC. Dad loved his family and will be sadly missed.
The family would like to thank the staff at Clearview Lodge, Dr. Christensen, and the staff at Taber Hospital.
Friends may meet the family on Monday, June 22 prior to the service at the church from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 22, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, Taber Stake Centre, 4709-50 Avenue, Taber, with Bishop Mark Baldry officiating. Interment to follow in the Taber Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the General Missionary Fund of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or the Taber and District Health Foundation, 4326-50 Avenue, Taber, AB T1G 1N9.
