GRANSON ELFRIEDA GRANSON, beloved wife of Fred Granson of Coaldale passed away peacefully at Lethbridge Regional Hospital on Monday, June 15, 2009 at the age of 76 years. Elfrieda was born on July 1, 1932 in Josefstal, Ukraine. She was forced away from her home town during World War II. Elfrieda, along with her family, moved to Germany following the war, then emigrated to Canada in the early 1950s. Elfrieda and Fred were married at Christ Trinity Lutheran Church in Lethbridge in 1953 and raised three children in Coaldale. Elfrieda was known for her colorful flower gardens, prize-winning quilts and crocheted crafts, her wonderful family meals and her devotion to her family. Besides her loving husband, Elfrieda is survived by her three sons; Ernest (Katherine) of Calgary, grandchildren, Dieter, Claire, Olivia; Ewald (Myra) of High River, grandchildren, Jaice, Cale, Drew; Leonard (Diane) of Bluffton, AB and grandchildren, Matthew and Alida. Elfrieda was predeceased by her parents Jakobina and Jacob Kuhn and her brother Friederich. A visitation for family and friends will take place between 7 – 8 p.m., Friday, June 19 at CHRISTENSEN SALMON FUNERAL HOME, 327 – 10 St. South, Lethbridge. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2009 at CHRIST TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 416 – 12 St. South, Lethbridge with Pastor Jason Anderson officiating. HUTTON It is with great sadness, we are announcing the passing of Ronald Carl Hutton on June 17th, 2009. Ron leaves behind his sister Helen Hutton of Ontario; niece Laura; Bill Hosfsink and family; nephews Gordon and Rena Harrison and family; Dennis Harrison; Christopher Hutton, and soul mate Vera Wyton. Ron was reunited with his beloved late family members; parents Peter Wallace (Wally) Hutton, Elvie Harriet Hutton, as well as sisters Shirley Hutton and Eleanor Harrison. Real 1942 - 2009 Judy Real beloved wife of Steve Real, passed away in Taber on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the age of 66 years. Besides her loving husband Steve, she is survived by her sister Betty (Arnie) Rushfeldt of Bonnyville and their daughter Luanna; brother George Bohus of Lethbridge; uncles Paul (Gloria) Szoke of Kipp and George Bohus of Coaldale. She was predeceased by her parents John and Maria Bohus; uncles Paul and Andrew Bohus. Judy was born and raised in Raymond. After obtaining her beautician’s license she moved to Taber to pursue her career. She worked for other shop owners before opening her own shop, Judy’s Cuti Curl. In Taber she met Steve Real and they were married on July 1, 1968. Judy enjoyed travelling, especially to Arizona. She also enjoyed photography and attending airshows. Although Judy met and touched many people in the community, she was most comfortable in the privacy of her own home. There she went about making a house a home. There too she was able to enjoy and look after her pets. Judy will always be remembered for the special cards she wrote and sent to family and friends in times of sorrow and in times of joy. Each card was specially worded and written in Judy’s distinctive handwritting. A private family service will be held with burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden. ROBINSON JOAN M. ROBINSON of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Walter Robinson, passed away after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the age of 82 years. Joan was the only child of Maud and William Kellow, born August 4, 1926 in Acton, Middlesex, England. Joan married Walter in 1946 and subsequently immigrated to Canada in 1950 with Walter and their eldest son Michael. Suzanne and Cliff soon followed and the family was complete. Mum worked for many years as a bookkeeper, first with London Life and later with Camm’s Shoes. Mum was an active volunteer in the community for many years, working with Meals on Wheels, the Canadian Mental Health Association, and St. Michael’s Women’s Auxiliary. She sang in the St. Augustine’s Church Choir for over 40 years and also belonged to the Parish Guild. Mum was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for over 50 years. Mum loved music, flowers and anything Victorian. Mum loved spending time with her many friends, but most of all, she loved her family. She was proud of all her grandchildren and she adored her great granddaughters. Mum knew she would live on in them forever. Joan M. Robinson is survived by her daughter Suzanne (Rick) Hatt; her sons Michael Robinson and Clifford (Debra) Robinson; and her grandchildren, Konrad (Leanne) Schmidtke, Kristopher (Jamie) Schmidtke, Kyle (Melissa) Hatt, Keane Hatt (Sarah Abrey), Keiran Hatt, Kelan Hatt and Tarryn Robinson, as well as great granddaughters; Jocelyne Schmidtke and Abigail Jo Schmidtke. Besides her loving husband Walter, Joan was predeceased by her parents Maud and William Kellow. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at ST.
