Angels are not cherubic creatures with wings, as portrayed by many Renaissance painters, but pure essences of divine, uplifting energy that humans can actually tap into. The knowledge that came with that revelation caused Kaya Muller, who was a rising Quebec vocalist star with a recording contract, and his wife, Christiane — a former banking and finance executive in Geneva — to shed their materialistic lives in pursuit of spiritual work with angels and, subsequently, to travel the world to share what they’ve learned. The couple was in Lethbridge Tuesday to share experiences and their first book written in English, “The Book of Angels, the Hidden Secrets,” through a workshop at the Exhibition grounds. “To work with the angels is very, very powerful in the sense that it will trigger dreams, and sometimes not only beautiful dreams,” explained Kaya. “We explain in the lecture that the notion of evil is something that we want to avoid, but it is always a part of our life. So we have to understand and respect that evil is education, it is there for us to learn. It’s a learning process for us to improve ourself, to become better. It’s a way, by resonance, for us to meet our weaknesses that we have from day-to-day situations and we can learn from it all the time. “You cannot know the light if you do not know the darkness. It’s like the Internet now — you can do bad, you can do good, but we need to know that we can do bad — so that we won’t do it. An evolved being is a being that can make a decision and has the free will of deciding between good and evil, and when you are capable of choosing good and knowing that evil exists and saying no to evil, this is where your goodness is stronger.” The Muller’s angel work began about 15 years ago when Christiane came into contact with 2,500-year-old documents, the Traditional Study of Angels, uncovered in Gerona, Spain in 1975 after being walled up for 500 years during the Spanish Inquisition. The documents detail the names and characteristics of 72 angels and 10 archangels, revealing that each of us has three guardian angels assigned to us at birth, attached to the physical, emotional and intellectual aspects of ourselves. In their book, one can learn (by date and time of birth), the names of their angels and begin to do recitations, through which people learn what work they need to do to achieve their potential. Once evoked, the angels send messages through symbols and dreams. They have no gender, but possess both polarities — like humans, which are created with feminine and masculine traits. “When we work with the angels, it will only improve our life because an angel is a pure state of consciousness,” Kaya said. “We know Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, but at the beginning there were 72 angels and 10 archangels and they are the representations of pure qualities and powers. It is not a person, it is not an entity, it is the source of life. The qualities of God. We can use the names of the angels like mantras, which we call angel recitation. We repeat the name of an angel over and over and this triggers the dreams, and the good dreams will represent the qualities of that angel. The distortions will be the nightmares — which are human distortions, because the angels do not have any distortions.” The world is in a period of time where global consciousness is awakening, say the Mullers, and it’s more important than ever for people to understand how they are all connected, like water flowing into water. Children being born in this age are highly intuitive and creative and often come to teach their parents — not the other way around. “There’s a magic in life,” he said. “That makes us all connected somehow. We are like a living computer, in a sense, we record memories from our experience and every time we do something we refer ourselves to what we have recorded already. It’s so fascinating because a human is unique and he’s like a laboratory of knowledge of information that creates his personality.” Through angel invocation and the dreams that come afterward, people can learn to analyze their own “stored information,” the sum total of their experiences and memories, learn how their behaviours affect themselves and others and unlock and clear memories that are likely blocking their spiritual progress, or even making them ill or depressed. Once understood, the ability to understand the meaning of previous dreams comes, as well. The Mullers do their work through a non-profit organization they created, Universe/City Mikael Publishing.
