Board should rehire Mike Dyck |

My wife and I have had Hurricane hockey season tickets for several years. We have always enjoyed regular season and playoff games, win or lose.
I started writing this letter in support of coach Mike Dyck, to ask the board to fire GM Stasiuk. There seems to have been an ongoing feud between these two for at least a year. The board decided to eliminate the coach, when many fans knew the problem was the GM's arrogant and intrusive behaviour.
Then the board of directors made the correct decision and fired Roy Stasiuk. We are now asking the board to reconsider their original decision and hire back head coach Mike Dyck and his assistant coaches.
I do not know much about the makeup of the board and would love to know how to be a member. This board has made too many stupid decisions in the past. I have a feeling that some members have been on the board for too long. There should be set terms so that new members can bring new ideas.
Bring back Mike Dyck. How can a coach go from being nominated for Coach of the Year and winning the WHL Eastern Championship last year to being a bad coach this year? This was one of the board's stupidest decisions.
