Re: The Public Professor columns.
I was born, raised, and educated in Lethbridge and at the University of Lethbridge. I am now completing a PhD in Ontario. I think it’s important that professors try to communicate their research results to the general public, and it is great that you have provided a way for them to do it.  
Further, specifically regarding your option for readers to submit questions, this should enable the dissemination of accurate and digestible explanations for often misunderstood topic matters such as the Theory of Evolution.
Keep up the good work.
