Re: Letter to the editor, March 11, “Blunt object can be a weapon, too.”
Yes, a blunt object can be a weapon. Mr. Dziekanski was holding a stapler, not a club.
After being hit with the Taser, the man was lying on the floor screaming in pain and was hit with the Taser five more times. The whole situation was handled badly from the beginning and perhaps could have been avoided if he had been travelling with an English-speaking companion.
