Along with farming and raising a family, Tom also served on the Taber Hospital Board for twenty three years and was the Returning Officer for the Taber/Warner area for thirty three years. He enjoyed bowling and won several medals and trophies over the years and also coached the junior league with his wife. Their bowling skills afforded them many trips such as Florida, Ontario and Newfoundland. Tom had a passion for gardening, especially his tomatoes which he loved sharing with his friends at the lodge. He enjoyed many hours on his computer playing games or putting photo albums together for his children. Tom was also known for playing many pranks, one in particular where he would glue a loonie to the sidewalk and sit back and watch people try to pick it up. We will miss our dad, grandfather and husband but take comfort in knowing he is at rest and is with his sons and his dog Charlie having a great time.
