Immunization floodgates opening |

Starting Friday everyone under 18 years as of Nov. 1, along with their parents, immediate family members or other caregivers — will be eligible for H1N1 flu immunization shots in Alberta. They’ll be in addition to seniors 65 and up and their partners or spouses (regardless of age) plus all previous groups announced by Alberta Health. Sometime next week, officials said Wednesday in Edmonton, clinics may reopen to the general public without restrictions.
Following is a list of clinics for the H1N1 vaccination as announced by Alberta Health Services. Before visiting a clinic, please check out www.albertahealthservices.ca or call HealthLink Alberta at 1-866-408-5465 for a list of eligible health conditions. In addition, an Influenza Assessment Centre is open 7 days per week, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Heritage Hall, Lethbridge Exhibition Park. TODAY Pincher Creek: 1-6 p.m., Ranchlands Mall FRIDAY Milk River: 1-4 p.m., Civic Centre SATURDAY Lethbridge: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Exhibition Park, West Pavilion MONDAY, NOV. 23 Taber: 1-6 p.m., former Pharmasave building Fort Macleod: 1-6 p.m., Community Hall TUESDAY, NOV. 24 Lethbridge: 1-6 p.m. Exhibition Park, West Pavilion Picture Butte: 1-6 p.m., United Church WEDNESDAY, NOV. 25 Bow Island: 1-6 p.m., Provincial building; Pincher Creek: 1-6 p.m., Ranchlands Mall; Coaldale: 1-6 p.m., Mennonite Church; Oyen: 1-6 p.m., Legion Hall
