The Globe and Mail had an article Feb. 4 about animal cruelty laws in Switzerland that includes birds, fish and guinea pigs. Neglect is punishable by law.

Richard Littlemore (“Climate change skeptics in denial,” Feb. 5 Herald) would do well to remember that not everyone who disagrees with him is silly or in denial. He proposes three questions — all specious — for those who dare to question the “settled science” of climate change and its causes, claiming to have never met anyone who has passed his test.
