As Prime Minister Stephen Harper toots around Nunavut promoting Canadian sovereignty, high Arctic research, protection of the “unique and fragile Arctic ecosystem” and development of a strong northern economy, I have to wonder how he can, with a straight face, suggest that opposition leader Michael Ignatieff is “only visiting.”

I am disappointed in Police Chief Tom McKenzie and most of the other police chiefs at their national convention. It seems Calgary’s Chief Hanson is one of the few with a lick of common sense.
