Every November, students at Winston Churchill High School fill shoeboxes for needy children around the world through Operation Christmas Child. When empty boxes were being distributed this year, teachers noticed a flash of recognition cross 14-year-old Emmanuel Ipaa’s face. He and his brothers had received one of the boxes several years ago when they were living in a refugee camp in Benin, West Africa. “It was the best Christmas I had in my life,” Ipaa said. “It was hard for me to open the box, I was so happy.” He recalls finding a toothbrush, toothpaste, a towel
