The Abreast of ‘Bridge Dragonboat team, made up of breast cancer survivors, sprints hard Saturday afternoon during the ATB Financial Lethbridge Rotary Dragonboat Festival.at Henderson Lake Park. Racing continues today from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. with the closing ceremonies and breast cancer rose dedication ceremony starting at 4 p.m.

 
CRTC to look at how Internet traffic is managed to avoid congestion

MONTREAL - How Internet service providers deal with thousands of customers using their networks will come under scrutiny by the CRTC starting this week with public hearings on their policies to manage or shape the flow of user traffic.

Dragonboat festival gaining good reputation
They came dressed as though they had just emerged from the Highlands of Scotland, but left their bagpipes behind in exchange for some paddles. Sporting plaid kilts, blue facepaint, and plenty of energy, the members of the Lethbridge Family Services Bravehearts were all smiles on Saturday as they were gearing up to hit the water at Henderson Lake and race in their dragonboat for the second time.
