BOSCHMAN
MR. PETER BOSCHMAN, beloved husband of Betty Boschman, passed away at the Coaldale Health Care Centre on Monday, May 13, 2013 at the age of 84 years. 
A Funeral Service will be held at the EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH OF LETHBRIDGE, 4717 24 Avenue South, Lethbridge on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Randy Dueck officiating.
A private graveside service was held prior to the funeral service.
COATES
Audrey Joan Coates of Lethbridge, Alberta, passed away peacefully on March 27th, 2013 after a short illness at the age of 71 years.
She leaves behind two children to cherish her memory, Tim (Brandi) Wickhorst of Lethbridge; and Deborah Wickhorst of Kamloops, B.C.; one daughter in law, Shelly Priest of Calgary; and one sister, Pat (Bill) Wickhorst of Cranbrook, B.C. She also leaves her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she thought of always.
She was predeceased by three of her sons, Jamie, Tommy, and Trent; and by one brother, Murray Coates.
Audrey enjoyed gardening, cooking, and especially a well kept home. Audrey could fix just about anything all by herself and enjoyed that independence. She was employed at Alma Homes, Triple E Homes, and most recently managed the Bridge Villa Estates Mobile Home Park until her retirement in 2008.
She will be sadly missed by those who loved her.
At Audrey’s request, a private service will be held at a later date near Stoney Plain, Alberta where she grew up.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2603 3rd Ave, Fort Macleod AB, with Father Angelo D’Costa, Officiating. Interment to follow at St. Catherine’s Cemetery.

MRS. ROSIE DAY RIDER, beloved wife of the late Mr. Barney Day Rider, passed away peacefully at the Cardston Health Centre surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the age of 88 years.

LOIS HEGGIE, beloved wife of the late George ‘Judd’ Heggie, passed away in Raymond on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the age of 86 years.
The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, KNIGHT STREET CHAPEL, 260 E 200 N, Raymond, Alberta, with Bishop Robert Baker officiating.
Friends may meet the family on Monday evening, May 20, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the LDS – Knight Street Chapel, or prior to the service on Tuesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment to follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond.
IWAMOTO, Hisako
1929 – Mission, BC

Following a brief illness, Hisako Iwamoto (Konno), passed away in Calgary on May 15, 2013.
Born in Mission, BC on March 27, 1929 she moved to Southern Alberta with her family in 1944. She married Masayoshi Iwamoto in 1950 and raised their family in Iron Springs. Upon retirement, they moved to Coalhurst where they resided until 2001. Following Mas’ passing, Hisako moved to Calgary.
Hisako, a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother leaves to mourn her children, Larry (Lynne) Iwamoto, Joy (Kim) Hanson, Rob Iwamoto, Wendy (Henry) Van Nistelrooy, Dean Iwamoto; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She is survived by one sister Ann Konno; and two brothers Akira (Chick) and Naozo (Marie) Konno. She was predeceased by her husband Masayoshi; granddaughter Adrienne; brothers Katsushige and Tsutomu Konno; and sister Sachiko Ikebuchi.
A Celebration of Hisako’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E. Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with a viewing prior at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. JARVIE
MR. H. MARSHALL JARVIE, beloved Husband of the late Mrs. Glady’s Mae Jarvie, passed away in Lethbridge on Friday, May 1, 2013 at the age of 87 years.
He is survived by his daughter Brenda (John) Czaga of Kitimat, B.C as well as a granddaughter Kayla Czaga of Vancouver, B.C..

McNEELY
1930 – 2013

On Tuesday, May 14, 2013 Douglas Roy McNeely passed away at the age of 83 years. Doug was born on May 5, 1930 in Lethbridge, Alberta.
Over his life time he has lived from one coast of Canada to the other. During 1950 to 51 he served in Korea with the D company, 2nd Battalion, Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry. After that he served with the Royal Canadian Airforce/Canadian Armed Forces until 1969. He was an inspector for Alberta Occupational Health and Safety until his retirement in June of 1994. After his retirement he and his wife travelled extensively in Europe and North America. He was active in the Korean Veteran Association serving as secretary-treasurer for Unit #67 Bighorn for 21 years. He is survived by: his
wife Angelina (Angie); sons David (Cindy), Philip (Anne), Michael (Heidi), Paul; seventeen grandchildren; twelve great grand-children; and sister Shirley-Mae Crossen. He was predeceased by his mother Lettice (Lettey), his father Roy and his sister Maxine. A Prayer Service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Friday, May 17 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held in Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge, Alberta on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. MIKADO
JUNE YOSHIE MIKADO, beloved wife of Sam Mikado, passed away at St. Therese Villa in Lethbridge on Saturday, May 11, 2013.
June was born on March 7, 1930 in Raymond, AB. She resided in Magrath, AB for most of her life with her husband Sam, where they raised their five children. June was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was well known for her amazing baking and cooking and her homemade chocolates and meat pies, which she generously shared with friends and family.
In addition to her husband Sam, she is survived by her children: Patti (Jim) Spencer, Richard, James (Chiemi), Ron, and daughter-in-law Karen (son Don deceased).
She was a proud and adoring grandmother of her grandchildren: Jackie, Graham, Taya, and Sammy.
June’s family will hold a private interment service at a later date. Flowers and koden are gratefully declined.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Therese Villa for their loving care.

MRS. MILDRED WILSON of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Mr. George Wilson passed away peacefully on May 13, 2013 at the age of 60 years.
Besides her loving husband George, Mildred is survived by her sons George Wilson Jr, Jeremy (Jessica) Wilson, Leon (Shantelle) Wilson; daughter Patience Wilson and 8 grandchildren.

MORGAN
DELORIS MORGAN, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the age of 79 years.
She is the loving mother of Alan Wade Williams, Cheryl Laureen Williams, and Jonn Cameron Machan, as well as 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brother Kenneth Machan.
Lori was a SDA pastor's wife for ten years living in many parts of Canada. She was an avid reader and thinker. She "tested out" for her Bachelor's degree from Wright State University in the States. She then received her Master's in Psychology from Kent State University and was a "thesis short" from receiving her PhD. From 1978 - 1993, Lori founded 5 homes for handicapped adults who had no place to go after they turned 18 years of age. In the 80's, Lori was a leader in the field of autism and worked with colleagues in many countries. Lori's passion was for creating safe, accepting, caring work environments to give clients the chance to become all they could be.  May Lori's works be long lasting and may the world be a better place for having known her.
A Memorial service will be held at MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY, on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Nathan Williams officiating.
A reception will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge.
TRISKA
MRS. ANNIE HELEN TRISKA, beloved wife of the late Joseph Triska, passed away from complications following surgery, surrounded by her family on May 11, 2013 at the Chinook Regional Hospital.
A Celebration of Annie's Life will be held at the COALDALE SENIOR'S CENTRE, 1806 - 21 Avenue, Coaldale, on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 2:00 P.M.
A Private family interment will be held prior to the Celebration of Life.
WILSON
EMMA (TEIGEN-SWIHART) WILSON, of Lethbridge AB., passed away at Legacy Lodge on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at the age of 96 years.
Emma (Nan) was born on the Teigen farm near Robsart, Saskatchewan on October 4, 1916, the oldest of six children. With her Mother's early death, Nan went to work early in life, keeping house for her Father and brother Gordon while her sisters were raised by her Aunts. She did various jobs around southern Saskatchewan, cooking and cleaning until 1936 when she married Eugene Swihart. They moved to Fort Macleod with their children in 1943 and she supplemented their income with domestic jobs. They moved to Lethbridge in 1957. Nan loved her children and all children with a passion. Nothing made her happier than to have a child on her hip and she took an active role in raising her grand children and great-grand children. She was a Care-giver, a Nursing Aide, and a wonderful cook. She worked at numerous jobs throughout the years and retired at the age of 65 where, at that time, she was cooking for an Alberta Transportation Bridge Repair Crew.
She is survived by children Novajean (Ray) Swihart and Garret (Karen) Swihart, grandchildren Ben (Nan) Bell, Bonnie (Brent) Murray, Yvonne (Gordon) McPherson, Gloria Bell, Dale (Susan) Dersch, Garret (Marianne) Swihart, Renea (Mike) Egeland, Gayla (John) Dehart, 16 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren, sisters Ina Palmer and Edna Behrman, sister-in-law Barb Teigen, numerous nieces and nephews, and many, many close friends.
Emma is predeceased by her parents Olaf and Olina Teigen, Eugene Swihart, brother Gordon Teigen and sisters Olga Hogg and Martha Flick.
